Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kesepian dan pengungkapan diri secara online pada wanita menikah pengguna media sosial, dengan tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kesepian terhadap pengungkapan diri secara online pada wanita menikah pengguna media sosial di Kota Bekasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuisioner. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari kesepian terhadap pengungkapan diri secara online, dimana kesepian berkontribusi sebesar 21% terhadap pengungkapan diri secara online pada wanita menikah pengguna media sosial di Kota Bekasi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ketika mereka yang kesepian menggunakan media sosial, mereka cenderung terbuka secara online dimana wanita menikah yang memiliki tingkat kesepian yang tinggi maka tinggi pula dalam pengungkapan diri melalui penggunaan media sosial. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh kesepian terhadap pengungkapan diri secara online pada wanita menikah pengguna media sosial. Kata kunci: Kesepian, Pengungkapan Diri Secara Online, Wanita Menikah Pengguna Media Sosial ABSTRACT This research focuses on loneliness and the online self-disclosure in married women users of social media, with the aim to examine the influence of the online self-disclosure in married women users of social media at Bekasi City. The research approach used is quantitative approach with questionnaire. Respondents used in this study amounted to 80 people. The results showed significant influence of loneliness on online self-disclosure, where loneliness contributed 21% to online self-disclosure in married women users of social media at Bekasi City. It shows that when those who are lonely use social media, they tend to open online where married women who have high levels of loneliness hence also high in selfdisclosure through the use of social media. Therefore the results of the study concluded the existence of effect of loneliness on the online self-disclosure in married women users of social media.
