Abstract
This research aim to determine the relationship between self-esteem and academic dishonesty. The sample of this study are students from class X-XII at Ananda Vocational SchoolBekasi, amounting to 301 students. The method of data collection is using questionnaire, academic dishonesty scale based on Survey on Academic Dishonestydeveloped by McCabeand self-esteem scale from Rosenberg. This study used correlation test by Spearman's with a coefficient values -0.102 and significance value p=0.077. The results shows there is no relationship between self-esteem and academic dishonesty of Ananda vocational high school students in Bekasi. Keyword: Achademic Dishonesty, Self-Esteem Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara selfesteem dengan kecurangan akademik pada siswa SMK Ananda Bekasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-XII pada SMK Ananda Bekasi yang berjumlah 301 siswa. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner, skala kecurangan akademik berdasarkan Survey on Academic Dishonety yang dikembangakan McCabe, dan skala self-esteem dari Rosenberg. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s dengan dengan nilai koefisien -0.102 dan p=077. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara selfesteem dengan kecurangan akademik pada Siswa SMK Ananda Bekasi. Kata kunci : kecurangan akademik, self-esteem
