Abstract

iv ABSTRAK Dalam penyelenggaraan jaringan internet khususnya pada jaringan Fiber to the building (FTTB), bagi setiap ISP khusunya Balifiber harus menjaga kestabilan jaringan internet. Untuk itu maka dilakukan analisa sebagai salah satu usaha menjaga kualitas jaringan internet yang telah dibangun menggunakan Optimalisasi Sistem Automatic Failover dengan teknologi Redundant Trunking Group Di Jakarta site Matraman. Dalam pengujian ini menggunakan metode Redundant Trunking Group untuk mengatasi kegagalan link. Percobaan dilakukan dengan dua belas kali di jam-jam sibuk yaitu pada jam 13:00, 13:20, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:20, 15:40, 16:00, 16:20, 17:00, 17:20 dam 18:00. Parameter internet link existing mendapatkan hasil yang baik setelah melakukan optimalisasi. Nilai rata-rata bandwith upload meningkat dari 16.35% menjadi 98.95% sedangkan nilai rata-rata bandwith download meningkat dari 15.6% menjadi 89.8%. Tidak terjadi downtime setelah optimalisasi atau berada pada kategori normal dimana sebelum optimalisasi terjadi downtime pada jam 13:00-13:10 dan 15:06-15:59. Terjadi penurunan nilai rata-rata packet loss dari 54% menjadi 0% dimana semakin sedikit atau tidak adanya packet loss maka semakin baik. Terjadi penurunan nilai rata-rata delay sebesar 92.53 ms atau turun 20.57%, dimana nilai yang didapat sebelum optimasi adalah sebesar 104.36 ms atau 23.19% dan setelah dilakukan optimalisasi menurun menjadi 11.83 ms atau 2.62% . Dimana semakin sedikit atau tidak adanya delay maka semakin baik. Parameter tersebut telah memenuhi target internet ideal jaringan Balifiber. Kata Kunci: Optimalisasi, Failover, Redundant Trunking Group, Bandwith, Downtime, Throughput, Packet loss dan Delay. ABSTRACT In a special internet network on the Fiber to Building network (FTTB), for every ISP, especially Balifiber must use a stable internet network. For this reason, an analysis is carried out as one of the businesses provided by the quality of the internet network that has been made using the Automatic Failover System Optimization with the Redundant Trunking Group technology on the Jakarta Matraman site. In this test using the Redundant Trunking Group method to overcome the link failure. The experiment was conducted twelve times during rush hour at 13:00, 13:20, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:20, 15:40, 16:00, 16:20, 17:00, 17:20 and 18:00 Existing internet link parameters get good results after optimization. The average upload bandwidth value increased from 16.35% to 98.95% while the average download bandwidth value increased from 15.6% to 89.8%. There is no downtime after optimization or in the normal category where before downtime occurs at 13: 00-13: 10 and 15: 06-15: 59. There is a decrease in the average value of packet loss from 54% to 0% where it is getting smaller or the absence of packet loss, the better. There was a decrease in the value of the average delay of 92.53 ms or a decrease of 20.57%, where the value obtained before optimization was 104.36 ms or 23.19% and after optimization it increased to 11.83 ms or 2.62 %. Where the less or no delay, the better. These parameters have met the ideal internet target of the Balifiber network.
