Abstract

The development in the manufacturing industry is increasing, this can be seen from the very tight business competition. The company will compete to meet customer demand by increasing the amount of production. Nonetheless, setting too much inventory will result in a waste of storage costs, while setting too little inventory also results in the loss of the opportunity to get a profit if the customer's demand exceeds the demand expected by the company. PT. Metindo Era Sakti. is a company engaged in the Spare Part industry, producing spare part for the needs of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.entory in order to maximize the material in the production process. The data taken is raw material demand data for Kain 41166 during the period January 2017 - december 2018. This study uses 3 forecasting methods namely Moving Average (MA), Linier Regression and cyclic and uses 3 Lot Sizing Techniques namely Lot For Lot (LFL), Period Order Quantity (POQ) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Of the three forcasting methods, cyclic method is the method chosen because it has the smallest error value and has been tested for validation using the Moving Range Map (MR). While from the calculation of the Sizing Lot Technique, it was found that the Lot For Lot (LFL) method had the lowest cost compared to the other three Lot Sizing Technique methods, namely with a total cost of Rp36.000.000 Kata Kunci: Material Requirement Planning (MRP), forecasting method, Lot Sizing method Perkembangan dalam industri manufaktur semakin meningkat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari persaingan bisnis yang sangat ketat. Perusahaan akan bersaing untuk memenuhi permintaan pelanggan dengan meningkatkan jumlah produksi. Meskipun demikian, menetapkan jumlah persediaan yang terlalu banyak akan mengakibatkan pemborosan biaya penyimpanan, sedangkan menetapkan jumlah persediaan yang terlalu sedikit juga berakibat hilangnya kesempatan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan apabila permintaan pelanggan melebihi permintaan yang diperkirakan oleh perusahaan. PT. Metindo Era Sakti adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang Industri Spare Part, memproduksi spare part kebutuhan kendaraan roda 2 dan roda 4. Hal ini membuat perusahaan harus tepat dan cepat dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan agar dapat memaksimalkan bahan daku dalam proses produksi. Data yang diambil adalah data permintaan bahan baku Reinforcement Sub-Assy Fr Bumper selama periode Januari 2018 – Desember 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 metode peramalan yaitu Moving Average (MA), Regresi Linier, dan Siklis serta menggunakan 3 Teknik Lot Sizing yaitu Lot For Lot (LFL), Period Order Quantity (POQ) dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Dari ketiga metode peramalan tersebut, metode Siklis adalah metode yang dipilih karena memiliki nilai kesalahan terkecil dan telah diuji validasi menggunakan Peta Moving Range (MR). Sedangkan dari perhitungan Teknik Lot Sizing, didapatkan hasil bahwa metode Lot For Lot (LFL) memilki biaya terendah dibandingkan dengan ketiga metode Teknik Lot Sizing yang lain yaitu dengan total biaya sebesar Rp36.000.000.
