Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of marriage satisfaction in husbands who do not have children at marriage age above 5 years with the background of Chinese family culture. The subjects used were husbands who did not have children at marriage age of at least 5 years, with a total subject of three people. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with phenomenology pendektan. Qualitative is a type of research whose findings are not obtained through statistical procedures or other forms of calculation. The method used in this study is non-participatory observation method and open interview method with interview guidelines. the results of this study indicate that the absence of children can actually cause dissatisfaction in marriage in some aspects of marriage satisfaction or a factor of marital satisfaction. Keywords: Marital Satisfaction, Husband, Childless, Chinese Culture, Son Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Kepuasan Pernikahan Pada Suami Yang Belum Memiliki Anak di Usia Pernikahan diatas 5 Tahun Dengan Latar Belakang Budaya Keluarga Tionghoa. Subjek yang digunakan adalah suami yang belum memiliki anak diusia pernikahan minimal 5 tahun, dengan jumlah subjek tiga orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendektan fenomenologi. Kualitatif merupakan jenis penelitian yang temuannya tidak diperoleh melalui prosedur statistik atau bentuk hitungan lainnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi non partispatif dan metode wawancara terbuka dengan pedoman wawancara. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketidakhadiran anak ternyata dapat menyebabkan ketidakpuasan dalam pernikahan dalam beberapa aspek kepuasan pernikahan atau faktor kepuasan pernikahan.
