Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the correlation between employability skills to career adaptability. The subjects studied were undergraduate of working students at Mercu Buana University. Proportionated stratified random sampling method was used in this study with a total sample of 388 respondents. The career adaptability measure consists of 24 items with reliability of 0.901 and the employability skills measure consists of 95 statements with reliability of 0.905. The results of this study have a value and coefficient of correlation r = 0.302 and significance p < 001, which indicates the presence of a correlation between employability skills and career adaptability in working students at Mercu Buana University. Keywords: employability skills, career adaptability, working students Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara employability skills dengan career adaptability. Subyek yang diteliti adalah mahasiswa bekerja program sarjana di Universitas Mercu Buana. Metode proportionated stratified random sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 388 responden. Alat ukur career adaptability terdiri dari 24 butir pernyataan dengan reliabilitas 0,901 dan alat ukur employability skills terdiri dari 95 pernyataan dengan reliabilitas 0,905. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki nilai dan koefisiensi korelasi r = 0.302 dan siginifikansi p < 0.001, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara employability skills dengan career adaptability pada mahasiswa bekerja program sarjana di Universitas Mercu Buana.
