Abstract

Celullar phone users in Indonesia are increasing steadily each year, thus demanding providers provide adequate internet access to public transportations. Mass Rapid Transit is one of the most crowded public passenger facilities, so an LTE network needs to be built to support users to be able to communicate even if they are underground. To ensure customers get data access and service coverage, a mature Indoor Building Solution (IBS) design is needed so that when implemented it does not experience significant disruptions and is in accordance with the design expected by the Provider. In this final project prior to the implementation of LTE 1800 and 2100, the authors conducted a drive test for data before then conducted a spot test on the train as data after. In this final project, a planning and calculation based on the theory of the coverage area approach, 6 RBS have been produced which have been implemented with leaky cable as the transmission media. Based on data from the spot test results, the coverage has increased quite significantly. RSRP results increased with RSRP values of -69 dBm on the HI Roundabout route, Upper Hamlet MRT -73 dBm, Setiabudi MRT -74 dBm, Downstream Dam MRT -61 dBm, Istora MRT -77 dBm and Senayan MRT -80 dBm. Therefore in this final project, it is stated that the design of LTE has been successful with an increase in user acceptance. Keywords : LTE, Indoor Building Solution, Coverage Area, Link Budget, RSRP Pengguna telepon seluler di Indonesia semakin lama terus meningkat setiap tahunnya sehingga menuntut provider menyediakan akses internet yang memadai pada public transportations. Mass Rapid Transit merupakan salah satu fasilitas umum padat penumpang sehingga perlu dibangun jaringan LTE untuk menunjang user agar bisa berkomunikasi walaupun sedang berada di dalam tanah. Untuk memastikan pelanggan mendapatkan akses data dan cakupan layanan diperlukan perancangan Indoor Building Solution (IBS) yang matang agar saat di implementasikan tidak mengalami gangguan signifikan dan sesuai dengan perancangan yang diharapkan oleh Provider. Pada tugas akhir ini sebelum implementasi LTE 1800 dan 2100, penulis melakukan drive test untuk data before lalu melakukan spot test didalam kereta sebagai data after. Pada perancangan dan perhitungan berdasarkan teori pendekatan coverage area dihasilkan 6 RBS yang telah di implementasikan dengan leaky cable sebagai media transmisi nya. Berdasarkan data hasil spot test, secara coverage mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Hasil RSRP meningkat dengan nilai RSRP -69 dBm di rute MRT Bundaran HI, MRT Dukuh Atas -73 dBm, MRT Setiabudi -74 dBm, MRT Bendungan Hilir -61 dBm, MRT Istora -77 dBm dan MRT Senayan - 80 dBm. Oleh karena itu pada tugas akhir ini dinyatakan bahwa perancangan LTE berjalan sukses dengan kenaikan level daya terima user.
