Abstract

Current control or control systems are beginning to shift to the control system automation, so that human intervention in control is very small. When compared with manual work, equipment systems controlled by automation will provide benefits in terms of efficiency, safety and accuracy. When the PLN goes out it often does not know that the PLN has come back to life or has returned to life. On this basis a research is conducted on Automatic Transfer Switch with PLN's voltage source, so that it can be known to what extent the efficiency of the use of automatic switches in controlling loads between Genset and PLN. So in this final project an ATS system is designed which has a cheaper price compared to conventional ATS for the use of one phase generator set. The control system is made simpler and easier to control by using an Outseal PLC Shield microcontroller. Othseal PLC Shield is a merging microcontroller between mini PLC and Arduino which is very compatible with various communications. Conclusions based on a system that has been made that the ATS system works as expected. That is able to work automatically when the PLN goes out, and move the electricity source from the PLN to the generator and can start stop automatically or manually with the HMI modbus. handphone. Then data data is also taken as a result of testing this ATS system. Keywords: Automatic, ATS, Outseal PLC Shield, Modbus HMI Sistem kontrol atau kendali saat ini mulai bergeser pada otomatisasi sistem kontrol, sehingga campur tangan manusia dalam pengontrolan sangat kecil. Bila dibandingkan dengan pengerjaan secara manual, sistem peralatan yang dikendalikan oleh otomatisasi akan memberikan keuntungan dalam hal efisiensi, keamanan, dan ketelitian. Ketika PLN padam seringkali tidak tahu bahwa PLN telah hidup kembali atau telah menyala kembali. Atas dasar inilah dilakukan penelitian mengenai Automatic Transfer Switch dengan sumber tegangan PLN, agar dapat diketahui sejauh mana efisiensi pemanfaatan sakelar otomatis dalam pengendalian beban antara Genset dengan PLN. Maka dalam tugas akhir ini dirancang sebuah sistem ATS yang memiliki harga lebih murah dibandingkan dengan ATS konvensional untuk penggunaan genset satu phase.Sistem kendali yang dibuat lebih sederhana dan mudah untuk pengontrolannya yaitu dengan menggunakan sebuah mikrokontroller Outseal PLC Shield.Outseal PLC Shield adalah suatu mikrokontroller penggabungan antara mini PLC dengan arduino yang sangat compatible dengan berbagai komunikasi. Kesimpulan berdasarkan sistem yang sudah dibuat bahwa sistem ATS bekerja sesuai yang diharapkan.Yaitu mampu bekerja secara otomatis ketika PLN padam,dan memindahkan sumber listrik dari PLN ke genset serta dapat di start stop secara otomatis maupun manual dengan HMI modbus.Melalui komunikasi bluetooth HC 06 lewat handphone.Kemudian juga diambil data data sebagai hasil dari pengujian sistem ATS ini.
