Abstract

MRT Jakarta, short for Moda Raya Terpadu Jakarta (English: Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit), is a fast transit transportation system that uses electric rail which is supplied from 4 traction substations. The Phase I construction process began on October 10, 2014 and was operated on March 23, 2019. Phase I of the MRT Jakarta serves a travel route from Lebak Bulus Station to Bundaran HI Station, which is approximately 15.7 km away (South-North Phase I) with a number of 16 trains / Train Sets (TS) with 14 formations operated and 2 reserves. Furthermore, the construction of Phase II of the MRT which is located from the Bundaran HI-Jakarta Kota will begin in March 2020. In Phase II operations, the MRT will use the same type of train as Phase I and is supported with infrastructure that is feasible to operate. In the Phase II project, 2 new Traction Substation (TSS) will be built to support the electricity needs of trains with a Phase II line along ± 6 km. Of concern is that the Phase II MRT development project which was supposed to start in March 2020 has been delayed, due to Government policies due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, the construction of Phase II of the MRT was carried out in July 2020. Previously the development and study in Phase II of the MRT was scheduled, now undergoing changes and studies related to the MRT electricity system have also suffered a setback. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research and studies for the system which can later be used as a reference for the Company in determining the standard of the MRT Jakarta’s train operation. Based on the results of the analysis and calculation, in the Phase II traction substation namely the Monas Traction substation that has been carried out in this study, the tractive substation power capacity needed is able to supply train operations with 10, 5, and 3 minute headway, with a total load of each load is 39%, 66%, and 98%. Keywords: Traction Substation, Headway, Trainset MRT Jakarta, singkatan dari Moda Raya Terpadu Jakarta (bahasa Inggris: Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit), adalah sistem transportasi transit cepat yang menggunakan kereta rel listrik yang disuplai dari 4 gardu listrik/gardu traksi. Proses pembangunan Fase I telah dimulai pada tanggal 10 Oktober 2014 dan diresmikan pada 23 Maret 2019. Fase I MRT Jakarta melayani rute perjalanan dari stasiun awal, yakni Stasiun Lebak Bulus hingga Stasiun Bundaran HI berjarak kurang lebih 15,7 km (Fase I Selatan-Utara) dengan jumlah sarana 16 kereta/Train Set (TS) dengan formasi 14 dioperasikan dan 2 cadangan. Selanjutnya, pembangunan Fase II MRT yang berlokasi dari Bundaran HI-Jakarta Kota dimulai pada bulan Maret 2020. Pada operasional Fase II, MRT nantinya akan menggunakan jenis sarana yang sama dengan Fase I dan didukung dengan prasarana yang layak operasi. Pada proyek Fase II akan dibangun 2 gardu traksi/Traction Substation (TSS) baru sebagai penunjang kebutuhan listrik kereta dengan jalur Fase II sepanjang ± 6 km. Yang menjadi perhatian adalah pada proyek pembangunan Fase II MRT yang seharusnya dimulai pada bulan Maret 2020 mengalami keterlambatan, dikarenakan kebijakan Pemerintah akibat pandemi Covid-19. Pada akhirnya pembangunan Fase II MRT dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2020. Yang sebelumnya pembangunan dan kajian pada Fase II MRT sudah terjadwal, kini mengalami perubahan dan kajian terkait sistem kelistrikan MRT juga mengalami kemunduran. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian dan kajian untuk sistem tersebut yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai acuan Perusahaan dalam menentukan standart operasinal kereta MRT Jakarta. Berdasarkaan hasil analisis dan perhitungan, pada gardu traksi Fase II yaitu Gardu Traksi Monas yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini, kapasitas daya gardu traksi yang diperlukan mampu untuk menyuplai operasi kereta dengan headway 10, 5, dan 3 menit, dengan total pemakaian beban masing-masing adalah 39%, 66%, dan 98%.
