Abstract
The rapid growth of mobile cellular telecommunication technology in Indonesia either the technology and the number of its user demands. Every network optimization proses including Drive test to always develop to be more effective and efficient. Crowdsource cellular drive test aims to reduce costs and efficiency against time compared to conventional drive test systems that retrieve data manually using vehicles that travel around a route using a special set of equipment. Drive test application with Android based is expected to reduce costs to telecommunications companies when carrying out the optimization process. By carrying out the drive test process at the center of the crowd the results obtained are more accurate because they are in accordance with the actual conditions occurring in the field. The system consists of three main components: Client or client application which is Android application that sends signal parameter data, Server or application server which is web based application that is the center of drive test request prosesing, data collecting, and data serving, the last is Firebase which forwarding and managing drive test request from server to all client, and the providing real time database. The average of normal responds of client application towards request that is sent from application server is less than 1 minute. The application has been Tested on 30 variety of smartphones, with 93.33% is compatible with foreground Activity and the percentage of valid data is 97.62%. The Signal strength outside building is better than inside building this was caused by the building that was built with concrete so the signal is hard to penetrate and multipath fading. In one location the signal quality is bad caused by near-end far-end interference because the device that was Tested is near some BTS. Keywords: Android, Client, Drive test, Firebase, Web Server Dengan berkembangnya pertumbuhan telekomunikasi seluler di Indonesia baik dari sisi teknologi dan jumlah pengguna yang terus bertambah. Seluruh proses optimasi termasuk didalamnya drive test dituntut untuk terus berkembang lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan dilakukannya drive test pada pusat keramaian bertujuan untuk mengurangi biaya dan efisiensi terhadap waktu dibandingkan dengan sistem drive test konvensional yang mengambil data secara manual menggunakan kendaraan yang mengelilingi suatu rute menggunakan seperangkat peralatan khusus. Dibuatnya aplikasi drive test berbasis android ini diharapkan mengurangi biaya terhadap perusahaan telekomunikasi pada saat melakukan proses optimasi. Dengan dilakukannya proses drive test pada pusat keramaian hasil yang didapatkan lebih akurat karenas sesuai dengan kondisi yang terjadi di lapangan secara aktual. Sistem yang diusulkan terdiri dari 3 bagian utama yaitu: client berupa aplikasi berbasis android pada smartphone yang mengirimkan data-data parameter sinyal, web server yang menjadi pusat pengolah permintaan pengambilan dan penyajian data drive test, dan firebase yang akan meneruskan perintah dari web server ke sejumlah client atau multicast dan sebagai penyedia basis data secara real-time. Respon rata-rata dari aplikasi client yang berjalan normal terhadap permintaan yang dikirim dari web web server dibawah 1 menit. Kompatibilitas aplikasi client telah diujikan kedalam 30 smartphone dengan berbagai merk dan model dengan persen kesuksesan mencapai 93.33%, dan validitas data mencapai 97.62%. Kuat sinyal di luar ruangan akan terlihat lebih baik dibandingkan di dalam ruangan karena terjadinya multipath fading. Rendahnya kualitas pada salah satu lokasi dikarenakan near-end far-end interference karena berdekatan dengan suatu BTS. Kata kunci: Android, Client, Drive test, Firebase, Web Server
