Abstract
Kanal Women on the Dream.co.id news site is a news content that discusses various information about women, including Fashion Hijab, Beauty, Healthy & Fresh and Culinary that can be useful and add insight to their readers. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this study is the extent of the level of usage of the online news site Dream.co.id and How Big is the Level of Satisfaction of Women channel readers on the Dream.co.id news site. The theory used is Uses and Gratification which emphasizes that active audiences determine which media should be chosen to satisfy their needs. The use of media by individuals can be seen from three things, namely frequency, duration and intensity. Satisfaction is a function of the difference between perceived performance and expectations, and can be measured from information satisfaction, personal identity, social interaction and entertainment. The research method used was a survey method and used a direct questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data. A total of 58 respondents were sampled using the Yamane formula and using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the level of usage of Women Dream.co.id channel readers earned a value of 2.86 which means "Quite Frequent" and at the Level of Satisfaction of Women Dream.co.id channel readers scored 3.74 which means "Satisfactory". The results showed that the level of usage of the Dream.co.id Women channel readers on a scale of 4-20 received an overall calculation value of 13 which was categorized as "Frequently" based on the calculation of the interval range of media usage and on the Satisfaction Level of the Woman channel readers on the Dream.co site .id on a scale of 13 - 65 gets an overall calculation value of 52 which is categorized as "Satisfactory" based on the range of Reader's Satisfaction interval scale. Keyword : Uses and Gratification Theory, Online news sites, Dream.co.id, Moslem Women Kanal Women pada situs berita Dream.co.id merupakan konten berita yang membahas berbagai informasi seputar wanita, diantaranya Fashion Hijab, Beauty, Healthy & Fresh dan Culinary yang dapat bermanfaat serta menambah wawasan bagi pembacanya. Maka dari itu, perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Sejauh Mana Tingkat Penggunaan situs berita online Dream.co.id dan Seberapa Besar Tingkat Kepuasan Pembaca kanal Women pada situs berita Dream.co.id. Teori yang digunakan ialah Uses and Gratification yang menekankan bahwa khalayak aktif yang menentukan media mana yang harus dipilih untuk memuaskan kebutuhannya. Penggunaan media oleh individu dapat dilihat dari tiga hal, yaitu frekuensi, durasi dan intensitas. Kepuasan merupakan fungsi dari perbedaan antara kinerja yang dirasakan dengan harapan, dan dapat diukur dari kepuasan informasi, identitas pribadi, interaksi sosial dan hiburan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan menggunakan kuisioner langsung sebagai instrumen pengumpulan datanya. Sebanyak 58 responden dijadikan sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Yamane dan menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tingkat Penggunaan pembaca kanal Women situs Dream.co.id dalam skala 4 – 20 memperoleh nilai perhitungan secara keseluruhan sebesar 13 yang dikategorikan “Sering” berdasarkan perhitungan rentang skala interval Penggunaan Media dan pada Tingkat Kepuasan pembaca kanal Women situs Dream.co.id dalam skala 13 – 65 memperoleh nilai perhitungan secara keseluruhan sebesar 52 yang dikategorikan “Memuaskan” berdasarkan rentang skala interval Kepuasan Pembaca.
