Abstract

ABSTRACT DESIGN OF WORKING MULTIFUNCTION TABLES OF MODERN & MINIMALIST By DHIKI ADITYA (41915320014) Furniture or furniture is a term used for home furniture that serves as a place to store goods, seating, bed, place to do something in the form of a table or place to put goods on the surface. Today the furniture industry is growing very rapidly with the advancement of technology, the number of various brands and products of furniture business that mushroomed in the community make perceptions of progress in the world of furniture industry in Indonesia. Today people prefer all equipment that is efficient and minimalist, because it will be easier and practical to be used in various places or rooms. In designing multifunctional multifunctional work product design is made with several functions that will be developed and can be used by consumers, especially modern society. On a multifunctional table designed, there are several functions as a support in the work, among them is the base laptop / notebook, put ATK (stationery), place of record of work (sticky note), and shelf for personal needs. In the multifunctional work table design there are also some additional special functions on the workbench as a mirror and base for ironing clothes. Also that is not less important is the application of minimalist design style on the table that is useful to minimize space and high mobility in work. This additional function is intended as an added value of multifunctional table products designed to facilitate the consumers of free workers (freelancers), office workers, and students in work and do daily work at home. Keywords: Desk, Work Desk, Multifunctional, Modern, Minimalist ABSTRAK PERANCANGAN MEJA KERJA MULTIFUNGSI YANG MODERN & MINIMALIS Oleh DHIKI ADITYA (41915320014) Furniture atau mebel merupakan istilah yang digunakan untuk perabot rumah tangga yang berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpan barang, tempat duduk, tempat tidur, tempat mengerjakan sesuatu dalam bentuk meja atau tempat menaruh barang di permukaannya. Dewasa ini industri furniture berkembang sangat pesat dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi, banyaknya berbagai macam brand dan produk usaha mebel yang menjamur di masyarakat membuat persepsi adanya kemajuan dalam dunia industri Furniture di Indonesia. Saat ini masyarakat lebih memilih semua peralatan yang bersifat efisien dan minimalis, karena akan lebih mudah dan praktis untuk digunakan diberbagai macam tempat atau ruangan. Pada perancangan desain produk meja kerja multifungsi dibuat dengan beberapa fungsi yang akan diterap kembangkan dan dapat dipergunakan oleh konsumen khususnya masyarakat modern. Pada meja multifungsi yang dirancang, terdapat beberapa fungsi sebagai penunjang dalam bekerja, diantara nya adalah alas laptop/notebook, menaruh ATK (alat tulis kantor), tempat catatan kerja (sticky note), dan rak untuk kebutuhan pribadi. Pada desain meja kerja multifungsi juga terdapat beberapa fungsi khusus tambahan pada meja kerja yaitu sebagai tempat bercermin dan alas untuk menyetrika pakaian. Selain itu yang tak kalah penting lainnya adalah penerapan gaya desain minimalis pada meja yang berguna untuk meminimal kan ruang dan mobilitas yang tinggi dalam bekerja. Fungsi tambahan ini dimaksudkan sebagai nilai tambah dari produk meja multifungsi yang dirancang guna memudahkan konsumen yaitu pekerja bebas (freelancer), pekerja kantoran, dan mahasiswa/mahasiswi dalam bekerja dan mengerjakan tugas kuliah sehari-hari dirumah.
