Abstract

ABSTRAK Dwi Haryanto, Slamet. 2018. Analisa kekuatan tarik MIG Welding pada Plate T2,6 SPH440 menggunakan sistem Penetrasi dan Autograph dengan variasi arus listrik. Henry Carles, S.T, M.T Proses pengelasan merupakan proses penyambungan Plate dengan menggunakan Input panas, hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan struktur mikro yang berpengaruh terhadap sifat mekanis pada Plate SPH440 (Raw material. Pada hasil pengujian ditunjukkan perubahan distribusi struktur mikro yang terbentuk pada hasil las akibat kuat arus pengelasan yang menyebabkan terjadinya perbedaan keretakan dan patah pada sambungan, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap keamanan dan kualitas kampuh las karena setiap pengelasan memiliki permukaan dan akar yang luas penampangnya tidak sama sehingga kekuatannya juga berbeda. Material Plate SPH440 T2,6 atau Toyota Hot Rolled Steel Coil merupakan baja dengan kandungan karbon (C) 0,15%, Silicon (Si) 0,02%, Mangan (Mn) 0,49%, Fosfor (P) 0,018, Sulfur (S) 0,004 dan merupakan material yang cukup baik untuk digunakan dalam proses pengelasan serta material yang cukup baik di gunakan untuk beban Dinamis sehingga baik di gunakan untuk Component mobil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen untuk mengetahui sebab akibat berdasarkan perlakuan yang diberikan oleh peneliti. Pengelasan dilakukan dengan metode MIG (Metal Inert Gas) pada Plate T2,6 SPH440 dengan variasi arus listrik Variasi-A 27A 200Volt, Variasi-B 30A 230Volt dan Variasi-C 33A 260Volt, kemudian di uji dengan menggunakan uji metalografi (Penetrasi) dan uji tarik (Autograph). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, dimana data yang diperoleh di rata-rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk table dan grafik kemudian dideskripsikan serta disimpulkan. Hasil uji metalografi dan uji tarik terbesar yaitu pada Variasi-C 33A 300Volt dengan volume kampuh ± 608,192 mm3 , kedalaman tembus 1,19 mm dan kekuatan tarik 9.230 Kgf/mm2 . Sehingga dapat di simpulkan bahwa semakin besar kuat arus yang digunakan maka semakin besar hasil uji metalografi (Penetrasi) dan uji kekuatan tarik (Autograph) MIG Welding. Henry Carles, S.T, M.T The welding process is a plate connecting process using heat input, this causes a change in microstructure which affects the mechanical properties of the SPH440 Plate (Raw material. In the test results indicated changes in the distribution of microstructure formed on welds due to strong welding currents that cause differences in cracks and fractures in the joints, so that it affects the safety and quality of welded seam because each welding has a surface and roots whose cross-sectional area is not the same so the strength is also different.PH440 T2,6 Plate Material or Toyota Hot Rolled Steel Coil is steel with carbon content (C) 0.15%, Silicon (Si) 0.02%, Manganese (Mn) 0.49%, Phosphorus (P) 0.018, Sulfur (S) 0.004 and are sufficiently good materials to be used in the welding and material processes quite good to use for Dynamic loads so that it is good to use for car Components use is experimental research to find out the cause and effect based on the treatment given by the researcher. Welding is done by the method of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) on Plate T2,6 SPH440 with variations in electric current Variation-A 27A 200Volt, Variation-B 30A 230Volt and Variation-C 33A 260Volt, then tested using metallographic test (Penetration) and test Autograph. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, where data is obtained on average and presented in the form of tables and graphs then described and concluded. The metallographic test results and the largest tensile test are in Variation-C 33A 300Volt with volume of ± 608,192 mm3 , penetrating depth of 1.19 mm and tensile strength of 9.230 Kgf/mm2 . So that it can be concluded that the greater the current strength used, the greater the metallographic test results (Penetration) and the MIG Welding Autograph test (Autograph).
