Abstract

ABSTRACT Bathing the baby is a routine activity performed by mothers. Bathing the baby needs a tool to get a comfortable position for mothers. Baby tafel is a tool for bathing the baby, changing diapers and storage of baby equipment. Baby tafel as a tool to get comfortable position, it must have ergonomic aspects. Another factor is the rapid growth of children making the necessary equipment quickly changing, making it necessary to use equipment only in the short term. Based on the conditions in which a lot of baby needs are changing very quickly, making furniture owned will become quickly unused and can only be stored and can not be used for other functions. The purpose of this research is to know the material and design of changing table of baby (baby tafel), what makes some people feel that baby taffles are also important to help mothers care for babies and baby crib storage. Data collection based on qualitative research methodology will be used by researchers to obtain reliable information. This information can later be used to create a changing table diapers (baby tafel) which is really beneficial for researchers and the surrounding community. Keywords: Furniture, baby tafel, and Ergonomics ABSTRAK Memandikan bayi adalah kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan oleh para ibu. Memandikan bayi memerlukan alat bantu untuk mendapatkan posisi nyaman bagi para ibu. Baby tafel merupakan alat bantu untuk memandikan bayi, mengganti popok dan tempat penyimpanan perlatan bayi. Baby tafel sebagai alat bantu untuk mendapatkan posisi nyaman, maka harus memiliki aspek ergonomi. Faktor lainnya adalah cepatnya pertumbuhan anak membuat perlengkapan yang dibutuhkan cepat berubah, hal ini membuat peralatan yang dibutuhkan hanya digunakan dalam jangka pendek. Didasari dari kondisi dimana banyak sekali kebutuhan bayi yang berubah dengan sangat cepat, membuat furnitur yang dimiliki akan menjadi cepat tidak terpakai dan hanya dapat disimpan serta tidak dapat digunakan untuk fungsi lainnya. Tujuan perancangan ini untuk membuat meja ganti popok (baby tafel) ini lebih efisien, membuat sebagian masyarakat merasa bahwa baby tafel juga penting untuk membantu para ibu merawat bayi serta tempat penyimpanan peralatan bayi. Pengambilan data berdasarkan riset desain yang telah dilakukan. Informasi inilah yang nantinya bisa digunakan untuk menciptakan meja ganti popok (baby tafel) yang benar-benar menguntungkan untuk perancang maupun masyarakat sekitar.
