Abstract
Medium voltage feeder is a means for the distribution of electricity from the substation to its consumers. But in reality these feeders often experience disturbances, including short-circuit and power leakage on the transmission line to the Setiabudi main substation. Therefore to localize the disturbance a protection system is needed that meets the sensitivity, reliability, selectivity and speed requirements, which all depend on the accuracy of the protection equipment settings.Calculation results with existing data in the field there is a difference in the TMS OCR-GFR value in incoming. This is because the installed settings are still using + 0.1 s delay time while the result of resetting using the + 0.4 s delay time. Keywords : protection, overcurrent relay, medium voltage Penyulang tegangan menengah adalah sarana untuk pendistribusian tenaga listrik dari gardu induk ke konsumennya. Tetapi dalam kenyataannya penyulang tersebut sering mengalami gangguan, diantaranya adalah gangguan hubung singkat dan kebocran daya pada jalur transmisi menuju gardu induk setiabudi. Oleh karena itu untuk melokalisasi gangguan tersebut diperlukan sistem proteksi yang memenuhi persyaratan sensitifitas, keandalan, selektifitas dan kecepatan, yang semuanya bergantung pada ketepatan setting peralatan proteksinya. Hasil perhitungan dengan data yang ada dilapangan terdapat perbedaan pada nilai TMS OCR-GFR pada incoming. Hal ini disebabkan karena setting yang terpasang masih menggunakan +0,1 s delay time sedangkan hasil penyetelan ulang menggunakan +0,4 s delay time.
