Abstract

PT. Pratama Abadi Industri is a manufacturing company engaged in producing sports shoes. In the shoes production process at PT. Pratama Abadi Industri, there are several work activities that can cause complaints on the body parts of workers. One of them is in the mixing area where in doing the work, shift A operator lifts the compound sack manually to the mixing machine (Manual Material Handling). This study aims to determine the level of musculoskeletal complaints felt on the body of the mixing shift A operator and to determine the recommended load limit to be lifted by the mixing shift A operator according to the operator's workplace. The method used in this study, namely the Nordic Body Map questionnaire method, the Recommended Weight Limit method and the Lifting Index method. The results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire for the work of lifting compound sacks, the highest complaint was pain in the upper arms of both hands and pain in both hands which had a percentage of 80% - 85%. The results of calculations using the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) and Lifting Index (LI) method, the recommended load limit for lifting in accordance with the operator's workplace is 8.25 kg with a lifting index value of 2.42, which means the work may be at risk. So that improvements must be made to the operator and the workplace of the operator to minimize the risk of ergonomics such as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) due to ongoing loading of skeletal muscles. Pratama Abadi Industri adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam memproduksi sepatu olahraga. Didalam proses produksi sepatu pada PT. Pratama Abadi Industri, terdapat beberapa aktivitas pekerjaan yang dapat menimbulkan keluhan pada bagian tubuh pekerja. Salah satunya pada area mixing dimana dalam melakukan pekerjaannya, operator shift A melakukan pengangkatan karung compound ke mesin mixing secara manual (Manual Material Handling). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keluhan muskoluskeletal yang dirasakan pada tubuh operator mixing shift A dan untuk mengetahui batas beban yang direkomendasikan untuk diangkat oleh operator mixing shift A sesuai dengan tempat kerja operator terebut. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu Metode kuesioner Nordic Body Map, metode Recommended Weight Limit dan metode Lifting Index. Hasil dari kuesioner Nordic Body Map untuk pekerjaan pengangkatan karung compound, terdapat keluhan tertinggi yaitu sakit pada lengan atas kedua tangan dan sakit pada kedua tangan yang memiliki persentase sebesar 80% - 85%. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) dan Lifting Index (LI), batas beban yang direkomendasikan untuk diangkat sesuai dengan tempat kerja operator diperoleh sebesar 8,25 kg dengan nilai indeks pengangkatan sebesar 2,42 yang berarti pekerjaan tersebut mungkin berisiko. Sehingga harus dilakukan perbaikan terhadap operator dan tempat kerja operator untuk meminimalisir risiko ergonomi seperti keluhan muskuloskeletal (MSDs) akibat pembebanan otot skeletal secara terus-menerus.
