Abstract
PT. MINA Indonesia is a company that produces spare parts for motorbikes and cars. Products in plant 3 of PT MINA Support Arm, Fuel Pump, Starter Motor, Motor Wiper. However, the problem lies in the Ijection die casting production process in the period January - June 2019. This study uses the DMAIC method to analyze the most dominant defects, the factor of the occurrence of defects, and make improvements to overcome these problems and control using the p control chart and the sigma level value. The biggest defect in the die casting line in the period January to July 2019 The total accumulative wiper motor is 42%. Wiper motor products are the largest contributor to defects with the defect classification: coolshot defects with an accumulative percentage of 85.1%, the cause of coolshot defects is a system for detecting the temperature of both material and dies which has not been properly synchronized. Analysis using the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analyst) method by determining the highest RPN value, the temperature of the dies is unstable with an RPN value of 288 points, which is a priority problem that must be resolved immediately. the addition of thermocouple to dies to control the temperature of dies and the manufacture of a connection system between temperature dies, with the material carried out to reduce the coolshot defects in Wiper Motor products. The sigma value after improvement increased to an average of 4,18 from the previous average of 3,85. The calculation of the control chart P, the UCL value has shifted from 0.043 to 0.016. The value of CL also experienced a shift from 0.041 to 0.015. The LCL value has shifted from 0.040 to 0.014 Keywords: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Wiper Motor, Quality control PT. MINA Indonesia perusahaan memproduksi spare part untuk motor dan mobil. Produk di plant 3 PT MINA Support Arm, Fuel Pump, Starter Motor, Motor Wiper. Namun permasalahan terletak pada proses produksi Ijection die casting pada periode Januari – Juni 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode DMAIC untuk menganalisa cacat paling dominan, faktor terjadinya cacat, dan melakukan perbaikan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dan di control dengan menggunakan peta kendali p dan nilai level sigma. Cacat terbesar di line die casting pada periode januari hingga juli 2019 Motor wiper total akumulatif 42%. Produk Motor wiper menjadi produk penyumbang cacat terbesar dengan klasifikasi cacat : cacat coolshot dengan persentase akumulatif 85,1%, penyebab cacat coolshot merupakan sistem pada pendeteksi temperature baik material dan dies belum tersingkronisasi secara baik. Analisa menggunakan Metode FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analyst) dengan menentukan nilai RPN tertinggi didapatkan temperature dies tidak stabil dengan nilai RPN 288 poin merupakan masalah prioritas yang harus segera di selesaikan. penambahan thermocouple pada dies untuk mengontrol suhu dies dan pembuatan sistem koneksi antara temperature dies, dengan material dilakukan untuk menurunkan cacat coolshot pada produk Motor wiper. Nilai sigma setelah perbaikan naik menjadi rata rata 4,18 dari sebelumnya rata-rata 3,85. Perhitungan peta kendali P nilai UCL mengalami pergeseran dari 0,043 menjadi 0,016. Nilai CL juga mengalami pergeseran dari 0,041 menjadi 0,015. Nilai LCL mengalami pergeseran dari 0,040 menjadi 0,014. Kata Kunci : Six Sigma, DMAIC, Motor Wiper, Pengendalian kualitas
