Abstract
Blue swimming crab is a fishery product that has high economic value. In the process of catching blue swimming crab, it uses three gears: traps, gillnet and trawl. These three gears have level of productivity, the price of the crab that is catched, the costs incurred for the repair of the ship as well as travel costs that differ. Besides that, trap is the most selective fishing gear, because it only catches certain size of crab according to the escape door that was designed. In this study, the authors use the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the priority of the criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives which will then be tested for consistency from the overall data that collected. The highest priority results at the data in this study were obtained directly from the process of field data collection followed by gillnet and trawl with scores 0.35 and 0.31 out of the total score of 1.00. Keywords: blue swimming crab, traps, productivity, Analytic Hierarchy Process, consistency Rajungan merupakan produk perikanan yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Dalam proses penangkapannya, digunakan alat tangkap bubu, gillnet dan trawl. Ketiga alat tangkap rajungan tersebut memiliki tingkat produktivitas penangkapan, harga dari rajungan yang ditangkap, biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk perbaikan kapal serta biaya perjalanan yang berbeda-beda. Disamping itu, bubu merupakan alat tangkap yang paling selektif, karena hanya menangkap rajungan dengan ukuran tertentu sesuai dengan pintu keluar (escape door) yang dirancang. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menentukan prioritas dari kriteria, sub-kriteria serta alternatif yang kemudian akan diuji tingkat konsistensi dari keseluruhan data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil urutan prioritas pada tingkat kriteria dalam penelitian ini dari yang terbesar adalah produktivitas, harga, biaya perbaikan serta biaya perjalanan. Data di dalam penelitian ini diperoleh langsung dari proses pengumpulan data lapangan melalui penyebaran kuisioner di lokasi penelitian yang dilakukan kepada 2 (dua) koordinator lapangan program perbaikan perikanan, 1 (satu) ketua kelompok nelayan serta 5 (lima) nelayan untuk setiap masing-masing alat tangkap. Penilaian ini menghasilkan bubu sebagai alat tangkap dengan produktivitas tertinggi dengan bobot sebesar 0.39, diikuti oleh gillnet dan trawl dengan perolehan bobot masingmasing sebesar 0.35 dan 0.31 dari total bobot 1.00.
