Abstract

This study aims to discuss the effect of transformational leadership and compensation on work motivation, implementation on the performance work teachers of XYZ Vocational. The object of research is teachers XYZ Vocational school as much as 60 respondents who have different background educational and work xperience. This research used SEM analysis data techniques and the processing used Smart PLS version 3.2.7. The population used all XYZ Vocational School teachers as much as 60 respondents. The results of testing and data calculation, that leadership has a positive and significant on teacher motivation and work performance, then compensation has a positive and significant to performance work and motivation teacher. The results of motivation as endogenous variables have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Exogenous variables (transformational leadership and compensation) on motivation obtain result R-square (R2) = 0.760. Then exogenous variables (transformational leadership and compensation) on work performance teacher obtain result R-square (R2) = 0.839. Base on this explains that level determination of exogenous variables (transformational leadership and compensation) on endogenous variables (motivation and performance) is high enough. Keywords: Transformational leadership, compensation, motivation, teacher performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengaruh pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap motivasi kerja, implementasi pada kinerja guru SMK XYZ. Objek penelitian adalah guru SMK XYZ sejumlah 60 responden yang memiliki pengalaman kerja dan latar belakang pendidikan berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data SEM dan pengolahan data menggunakan Smart PLS versi 3.2.7. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh guru SMK XYZ sejumlah 60 responden. Hasil pengujian dan perhitungan dari data, diperoleh hasil bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru, juga kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru. Hasil dari motivasi sebagai variabel endogen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja guru. Variabel eksogen (kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi) terhadap motivasi diperoleh hasil R-squre (R2)= 0.760. Variabel eksogen (kepemimpinan dan kompensasi) terhadap kinerja guru diperoleh hasil Rsquare (R2) = 0.839. Hal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa tingkat determinasi variabel eksogen (kepemimpinan dan kompensasi) pada variabel endogen (motivasi dan kinerja) cukup tinggi.
