Abstract

In this thesis will be discussed about the analysis of the lateral load carrying capacity with the p-y curve method according to the loading test data. This study will observe the lateral deflection of a single pole in cohesive soil. Based on the results of the lateral test and the pile loading test for the APMS project and Mixed Use Development. The calculation of lateral loads in the APMS project is at the points P-62 and P-81. In P-62 it had a planned load of 14 tons and the P-81 had a planned load of 12 tons. While the calculation of lateral loads in each Mix Use Development has different Pu. At TP A2 the closest test point is DB7 with a plan load of 10 tons and at TP5 the closest test point is DB3 with a planned load of 20 tons. The value of lateral load permits the pole based on ¼ inch or equal to 6 mm. The results of this study are that there is a percentage difference in the ultimate lateral bearing capacity value from the calculation results seen from the pole deformation limit of 6 mm. Obtained lateral load values of 65 kN and & 70 kN. One type of Pile-head is used which is free-head. Keywords: p-y curve, lateral load, free head Penelitian ini akan mengamati defleksi lateral tiang tunggal pada tanah kohesif. Berdasarkan hasil uji lateral test dan pile loading test proyek APMS dan Mixed Use Development. Perhitungan beban lateral tersebut pada proyek APMS yaitu pada titik P- 62 dan P-81. Pada P- 62 mempunyai beban rencana 14 ton dan P-81 mempunyai beban rencana 12 ton. Sedangkan perhitungan beban lateral pada Mix Use Development masing - masing mempunyai Pu yang berbeda. Pada TP A2 titik uji terdekat yaitu DB7 dengan beban rencana 10 ton dan pada TP5 titik uji terdekat DB3 dengan beban rencana 20 ton. Nilai beban lateral izin tiangnya berdasarkan ¼ inchi atau sama dengan 6 mm. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat presentase perbedaan nilai daya dukung lateral ultimit dari hasil perhitungan dilihat dari batas deformasi tiang sebesar 6 mm. Didapatkan nilai beban lateral sebesar 65 kN dan & 70 kN. Digunakan 1 tipe Pile-head yaitu free-head.. Kata kunci: p-y curve, beban lateral, free- head
