Abstract

The diversity of transportation modes at this time resulted in competition in the choice of mode, so that there would be a mode that is very popular and used by travelers to reach a place, while other modes are few or even no longer desirable. In the competition that occurs, it is necessary to conduct a review of the factors that affect the choice of mode so that the parties concerned can realize an adequate public transport system. This study aims to observe the behavior of travelers who use public transportation Damri Bus and Airport Train to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in order to know the factors that influence travelers in making mode choices, in order to obtain a mode selection model that can explain the probability of travelers in choose the Damri Bus and Airport Train modes. The type of research used in this final project is quantitative research that is calculated using regression calculations because it aims to see the relationship between the variable response of the traveler's choice (Y) to the change in the attribute change in the difference in travel costs (X1), travel time (X2), and departure time respectively. each mode (X3). From the results of statistical tests that have been carried out, the equation for the difference in utility between the Damri Bus and the Airport Train is as follows: (UBD - UKB) = - 0.221 + 0.000015X1 + 0.051X2 - 0.004X3 So that the results obtained that the Damri Bus has a probability of 51% to be selected by the community, while the Airport Train has a probability of 49% to be selected. This can be seen from several factors such as modal speed, ease of access, etc. However, the most important factor is the cost of the trip. So that people prefer Damri Bus. Keywords: Mode selection, Stated Preference, Damri Bus, Airport Train Keberagaman moda transportasi pada masa ini mengakibatkan kompetisi dalam pemilihan moda, sehingga akan ada moda yang sangat banyak digemari dan digunakan oleh pelaku perjalanan untuk mencapai suatu tempat sedangkan moda lainnya sedikit atau bahkan tak lagi diminati. Dalam kompetisi yang terjadi, maka perlu dilakukan peninjauan terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan moda sehingga pihak yang terkait dapat mewujudkan system angkutan umum yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati perilaku pelaku perjalanan yang menggunakan angkutan umum Bus Damri dan Kereta Bandara menuju Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta agar diketahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaku perjalanan dalam melakukan pemilihan moda, guna memperoleh suatu model pemilihan moda yang dapat menjelaskan probabilitas pelaku perjalanan dalam memilih moda Bus Damri dan Kereta Bandara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang dihitung dengan menggunakan perhitungan regresi karena bertujuan melihat hubungan variable respon pilihan pelaku perjalanan (Y) terhadap perubahan atribut selisih biaya perjalanan (X1), waktu perjalanan (X2), dan waktu keberangkatan masing-masing moda (X3). Dari hasil uji statistik yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan persamaan selisih utilitas antara Bus Damri dan Kereta Bandara adalah sebagai berikut: (UBD – UKB) = - 0.221 + 0.000015X1 + 0.051X2 – 0.004X3 Sehingga diperoleh hasil bahwa Bus Damri memiliki probabilitas sebesar 51% untuk dipilih masyarakat, sedangkan Kereta Bandara memiliki probabilitas 49% untuk dipilih. Hal ini dilihat dari beberapa faktor seperti kecepatan moda, kemudahan akses, dll. Namun, faktor yang terpenting adalah biaya perjalanan. Sehingga masyarakat lebih memilih Bus Damri.
