Abstract
Foam concrete is one of type of Lightweight Concrete. It composes of cement paste or mortar. In this mixture, there is void air which it occured by adding the foaming agent. The objective of this research is to find out the effect of adding sawdust bagasse ash and foam agent on the compressive strenght and buoyancy of lighweight foamed mortar. We used cement Portland type I, sand, sawdust, bagasse ash, foaming agent and water. The target of the compressive strenghth is 2,0 MPa, and minimum load target of buoyancy is 2,5 kg. The compressive strenght of this lightweight foamed mortar is between 2,52 and 2,69 MPa at 14 days. The density is between 0.78 g/cm3 and 0,79 g/cm3 . Keywords : Lightweight foamed mortar, sawdust, bagasse ash, foam agent, compressive strength, density. Beton busa (Foamed Concrete) adalah salah satu jenis beton ringan yang terdiri dari pasta semen atau mortar, dimana ruang udara atau pori-pori strukturnya terbentuk dengan menambahkan foaming agent kedalam campuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan abu ampas tebu serbuk kayu dan foam agent terhadap kuat tekan dan daya apung mortar busa ringan. Bahan-bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sement portland tipe I, pasir, abu ampas tebu, serbuk kayu, foam agent dan air. Kuat tekan yang diharapkan sebesar 2,0 Mpa dan dapat mengapung di air dengan beban minimal 2,5 kg. Kuat tekan yang didapat yaitu sebesar 2,52 Mpa sampai 2,69 Mpa. Sedangkan berat jenis sebesar 0,78 sampai 0,79 g/cm3 . Kata Kunci : Mortar busa ringan, abu ampas tebu, serbuk kayu, foam agent, kuat tekan, berat jenis.
