Abstract

The rapid development of telecommunications world, making telecommunication service providers to improve the quality of the telecommunication signal network. As a consequence of this development, it must be accompanied by the construction of structures with foot selection for BTS tower planning. The study was conducted by comparing the performance of the 72m SST Tower with different bracing types and segment types. For structural analysis using MS Tower V6 program, as an application to facilitate in telecommunication tower modeling. In the planning of the tower structure, the dominant impact load is the wind load. Wind expenses are calculated under the regulations of the Telecommunications Industry Association / Electronic Industries Alliance (TIA/EIA) Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Tower and Antenna Supporting Structure (TIA/EIA-222-F). The purpose of writing this final task is to know the most efficient type of tower kostrusksi weight. The results of the comparison calculation show sst tower 4 foot with bracing type X with segment height of 4 meters is the most efficient tower structure due to the capacity of SST tower 4 foot with bracing type X with segment height 4 meters more economical planning because it has a load weight of 14631.71 kg which is lighter than other towers. Tower Berkembangnya dunia telekomunikasi yang sangat pesat, membuat para penyedia layanan telekomunikasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas jaringan signal telekomunikasi tersebut. Sebagai konsekuensi dari perkembangan ini, maka harus diiringi dengan pembangunan struktur dengan pemilihan kaki untuk perencanaan menara BTS. Studi ini dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan performa dari Menara SST 72meter dengan tipe bracing dan tipe segmen yang berbeda. Untuk analisis struktur menggunakan program MS Tower V6, sebagai aplikasi untuk mempermudah dalam pemodelan tower telekomunikasi. Pada perencanaan struktur tower, beban yang berpengaruh secara dominan adalah beban angin. Beban angin diperhitungkan berdasarkan peraturan Telecommunications Industry Association / Electronic Industries Alliance (TIA/EIA) Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Tower and Antenna Supporting Structure (TIA/EIA-222-F). Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipe berat kostrusksi menara yang paling efisien. Hasil perhitungan perbandingan menunjukan menara SST kaki 4 dengan tipe bracing X dengan tinggi segmen 4 meter merupakan struktur tower paling efisien dikarenakan kapasitas menara SST kaki 4 dengan tipe bracing X dengan tinggi segmen 4 meter lebih ekonomis perencanaannya karena memiliki berat beban 14631,71 kg yang lebih ringan dari menara lainnya.
