Abstract

Reliability and safety in the electricity distribution process, a top priority for the State electricity company. Disruptions to the electricity distribution network can harm companies and customers, and threaten the safety of residents or workers. Then the importance of checking the condition of the distribution network system regularly, by checking the temperature of the cable jointing distribution network using thermovision tools. This final project uses primary data, by making direct measurements at PT. PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih. To meet data needs, the researcher utilizes the results of thermovision shots with jointing objects and cables and measures current and voltage. The results are analyzed theoretically, mathematically to determine maintenance steps, before the disruption results in a loss. The first anomaly finding of a short hotspot occurred in pole 4, due to incomplete jointing tension and natural factors. So that when the peak load temperature increases by 103⁰Celsius, current and voltage are still normal. The second finding is a long hotspot in pole 38, because it combines CCO and overloaded cable with natural factors. When the peak voltage is still normal, but the temperature and current increased significantly 161⁰Celsius, 182.7Ampere and unbalance currents 53%. This anomaly has crossed the line, the maximum cable operating temperature is 90⁰Celsius and the maximum unbalanced is 10%. Maintenance of this anomaly must be prioritized, by performing reconnect tension and load balancing between phases. Key words: Anomaly, jointing, hotspot, unbalance. Keandalan dan keamanan dalam proses distribusi listrik, menjadi prioritas utama perusahaan listrik Negara. Gangguan yang terjadi pada jaringan distribusi listrik dapat merugikan perusahaan dan pelanggan, serta mengancam keselamatan penduduk atau pekerja. Maka pentingnya pemeriksaan kondisi sistem jaringan distribusi secara rutin, dengan melakukan pengecekan temperatur jointing kabel dijaringan distribusi menggunakan alat thermovisi. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan data primer, dengan melakukan pengukuran langsung di PT. PLN UP3 Cempaka Putih. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan data, peneliti memanfaatkan hasil pengukuran thermovisi dengan objek jointing dan kabel serta mengukur arus dan tegangan. Hasilnya dianalisis secara teoritis, matematis untuk menentukan langkah pemeliharaan, sebelum terjadi gangguan yang berakibat kerugian. Temuan anomaly pertama hotspot pendek terjadi ditiang 4, karena pemasangan jointing tension tidak sempurna dan faktor alam. Sehingga saat beban puncak suhu meningkat sebesar 103⁰Celsius, arus dan tegangan masih normal. Temuan kedua hotspot panjang ditiang 38, karena jointing CCO dan kabel kelebihan beban serta faktor alam. Saat beban puncak tegangan masih normal, tetapi suhu dan arus meningkat siginfikan 161⁰Celsius, 182.7Ampere dan arus unbalance 53%. Anomaly ini telah melampaui batas, maximum suhu operasi kabel 90⁰Celsius dan unbalance maximum 10%. Pemeliharaan anomaly ini harus diprioritaskan, dengan melakukan reconnect tension dan balancing beban antar fasa. Kata kunci: Anomaly, jointing, hotspot, unbalance.
