Abstract

This research will explain about a rectangular massive mimo array 1x2 microstrip antenna using the tapared peripheral slits method at a frequency of 28 GHz for 5G wireless communication. It has a small design and a tapared periperal slit method will be added to reduce the size of the microstrip antenna and other miniaturization techniques to obtain a compact antenna dimension. Microstrip antenna design using ansys electromagnetics HFSS (High Frequency Electromagnetic filed simulation) software. From the research results of the designed antenna obtained a bandwidth of 6 GHz, a return loss value of -32.58, an impedance of 50 Ohms and a 7.8 dB gain. The Tapared Peripheral Slits method used in antenna design in this study serves to increase the gain in this antenna design and increase the return loss in S11 simulations. Based on the antenna parameters obtained during antenna design and simulation, the antenna design made rectangular for 5G communication at a frequency of 28 GHz has met the Standards. Thus the results of the design that has been done can be made or fabricated for use as a 5G antenna Keywords: Massive Mimo, Microstrip Antenna, Tapared Peripheral Slits. Pada penelitian ini akan dijelaskan tentang antena mikrostrip rectangular massive mimo array 1x2 dengan metode tapared peripheral slits pada frekuensi 28 GHz untuk komunikasi nirkabel 5G. Memiliki desain yang kecil dan akan ditambahkan metode tapared periperal slit untuk mereduksi ukuran antena mikrostrip dan teknik – teknik miniaturisasi ukuran lainnya agar didapatkan dimensi antena yang compact. Desain antena mikrostrip menggunakan software ansys electromagnetics HFSS (High Frequency Electromagnetic filed simulation). Dari hasil penelitian antena yang di desain didapatkan lebar bandwidth 6 GHz, nilai return loss sebesar -32.58, Impedansi 50 Ohm dan Gain 7.8 dB. Metode Tapared Peripheral Slits yang digunakan dalam perancangan antena pada penelitian ini berfungsi untuk meningkatkan gain pada perancangan antena ini serta memperbesar return loss pada simulasi S11. Berdsarkan parameter antena yang didapat saat perancangan dan simulasi antena, maka perancangan antena yang dibuat berbentuk rectangular untuk komunikasi 5G pada frekuensi 28 GHz telah memenuhi Standart. Dengan demikian hasil perancangan yang telah di lakukan telah bisa dibuat atau di fabrikasi untuk digunakan sebagai antena 5G Kata Kunci : Massive Mimo,Mikrostrip Antena,Tapared Peripheral Slits.
