Abstract

The museum is a permanent, non-profit institution, serving public needs, with an open nature, by making efforts to collect, conserve, research, communicate, and exhibit tangible objects to the public for the needs of study, education and pleasure. The Mandiri Museum is located on Jl. Station Station No. 1, West Jakarta and is one part of the Old City cultural heritage in Jakarta. But few people know about the existence of the Mandiri Museum and the lack of public knowledge about the Mandiri Museum. The Mandiri Museum requires a well-planned promotion. video is a suitable medium for the promotion of the Mandiri Museum containing clear information, visual images and explanations in the Mandiri Museum museum. Keywords: museums, promotions, videos Museum adalah institusi permanen, nirlaba, melayani kebutuhan publik, dengan sifat terbuka, dengan cara melakukan usaha pengoleksian, mengkonservasi, meriset, mengomunikasikan, dan memamerkan benda nyata kepada masyarakat untuk kebutuhan studi, pendidikan, dan kesenangan. Museum Mandiri terletak di Jl. Lapangan Stasiun No. 1, Jakarta Barat dan merupakan salah satu bagian dari cagar budaya Kota Tua di Jakarta. Namun hanya sedikit orang yang tahu keberadaan Museum Mandiri ini dan minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Museum Mandiri . Museum Mandiri memerlukan promosi yang direncanakan dengan baik. video adalah media yang cocok sebagai promosi Museum Mandiri yang berisikan informasi, visual gambar dan penjelasan yang ada didalam museum Museum Mandiri yang jelas.
