Abstract

Road is a land transportation infrastructure that has a very important role in the land transportation sector, which supports the continuity of the distribution of goods and services to encourage economic growth in a region. Karet Kotabumi Road and Mohammad Toha Road, Tangerang City are collector roads that connect industrial areas in Tangerang City with industrial areas in Tangerang Regency. Along with the rapid development of the area around this road, the amount of traffic has also increased, resulting in a decrease in the service level of both roads. Based on this background, a study was carried out with the aim of knowing the dominant types of damage on the Karet Kotabumi Road and Mohammad Toha Road, determining the value of road pavement conditions according to the PCI rules, and providing recommendations for improvements according to the 1992 Bina Marga standards (routine maintenance of roads and bridges). The first step in researching the road surface conditions is by conducting a visual survey by looking at it, analyzing the type of damage, then measuring the dimensions of the damage. The road damage assessment method used in this research is the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, which is a road pavement condition assessment system based on the type, level and extent of damage that has occurred, and can be used as a reference in road maintenance efforts according to the 1992 Bina Marga standard ( Routine Maintenance of Roads and Bridges). Based on the survey results on Karet Kotabumi Road, the dominant damage is weathering and raveling of 37.67% (flexible pavement), and Punchout of 0.982% (rigid pavement). The average value of the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) on Karet Kotabumi Road is 73.75 (Very Good). And the results of the survey on Mohammad Toha Road, the dominant damage was weathering and raveling of 17.6245% (flexible pavement), and polished aggregate of 26.525% (rigid pavement). The average value of the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) on Karet Kotabumi Road is 86.8 (Excellent). Suggestions for improvement on Kotabumi Karet Road are P4 (filling in cracks), P5 (filling in holes), P6 (leveling), K1 (repairing expansion gaps), and K3 (filling). While the suggestions for improvement on Jalan Mohammad Toha are P5 (patching holes), P6 (leveling), K1 (expansion gap improvements), and K3 (patching). Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang memiliki peranan sangat penting dalam sektor perhubungan darat, yang mendukung kesinambungan distribusi barang dan jasa untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu daerah. Jalan Karet Kotabumi dan Jalan Mohammad Toha, Kota Tangerang merupakan jalan kolektor yang menghubungkan wilayah industri di Kota Tangerang dengan wilayah industri di Kabupaten Tangerang. Seiring pesatnya perkembangan pada wilayah sekitar jalan ini, jumlah lalu lintas juga meningkat sehingga berdampak pada turunnya tingkat pelayanan kedua jalan tersebut. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan mengetahui jenis kerusakan yang dominan pada ruas Jalan Karet Kotabumi maupun Jalan Mohammad Toha, menetapkan nilai kondisi perkerasan jalan sesuai kaidah PCI, dan mmeberikan saran perbaikan sesuai standar Bina Marga 1992 (pemeliharaan rutin jalan dan jembatan). Penelitian awal terhadap kondisi permukaan jalan tersebut yaitu dengan melakukan survei visual yaitu dengan cara melihat, menganalisisi jenis kerusakan, kemudian mengukur dimensi kerusakan. Metode penilaian kerusakan jalan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI), adalah sistem penilaian kondisi perkerasan jalan berdasarkan jenis, tingkat, dan luas kerusakan yang terjadi, dan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam usaha pemeliharaan jalan sesuai standar Bina Marga 1992 (Pemeliharaan Rutin Jalan dan Jembatan). Berdasarkan hasil survei Pada Jalan Karet Kotabumi dengan panjang ruas jalan 3,14 KM, dengan jenis perkerasan lentur dan kaku, kerusakan yang dominan adalah Weathering and raveling sebesar 37,67% (perkerasan lentur), dan Punchout sebesar 0,982% (perkerasan kaku). Nilai rata-rata Pavement Condition Index (PCI) pada Jalan Karet Kotabumi yaitu 73,75 (Very Good). Sedangkan hasil survei pada Jalan Mohammad Toha dengan panjang ruas jalan 4,33 KM, dengan jenis perkerasan lentur dan kaku, kerusakan yang dominan adalah Weathering and raveling sebesar 17,6245% (perkerasan lentur), dan polished aggregate sebesar 26,525% (perkerasan kaku). Nilai rata-rata Pavement Condition Index (PCI) pada Jalan Karet Kotabumi yaitu 86,8 (Excellent). Saran perbaikan pada Jalan Karet Kotabumi adalah P4 (mengisi retakan), P5 (penambalan lubang), P6 (perataan), K1 (perbaikan celah ekspansi), dan K3 (penambalan). Sedangkan saran perbaikan pada Jalan Mohammad Toha adalah P5 (penambalan lubang), P6 (perataan), K1 (perbaikan celah ekspansi), dan K3 (penambalan) Kata Kumci : Kerusakan Jalan, Pavement Condition Index, Pemeliharaan Jalan .
