Abstract

Planetary gear is a tool to move and change the power of rotation. There are several gears on the planetary gear, namely: sun gear, pinion gear, ring gear. This planetary gear is designed in 3 stages with a single pinion type to increase the rotational power at a ratio of 1:6. When the gear rotates, vibrations will appear at each stage. The emergence of these vibrations will be further analyzed by several methods. The gear design process, carrier and assembly of the planetary gear system will use solidworks software. Then for the analysis of vibrations that arise due to gear rotation at each stage will be used ansys software. Based on the design, the desired ratio results are obtained and are able to analyze the vibrations created by the single pinion 3 stage planetary gear system. The results of vibration simulation using 2 types of material, namely steel and nylon, the largest nylon vibration material on the third stage is 5.66E04 smaller than steel material which is valued at 1.10E-04. It is proven that steel material is better used in this study. Keywords: Planetary Gear, Vibration, Ratio, Gear Planetary gear adalah sebuah alat untuk memindahkan dan mengubah tenaga putaran. Terdapat beberapa gear pada planetary gear, yaitu: sun gear, pinion gear, ring gear. Planetary gear ini di desain 3 stage dengan single pinion type untuk meningkatkan tenaga putaran dengan ratio 1:6. Pada saat gear berputar maka akan muncul getaran pada masing-masing stage. Kemunculan getaran ini akan dianalisis lebih lanjut dengan beberapa metode. Proses desain gear, carrier dan assembly pada planetary gear system ini akan menggunakan perangkat lunak solidworks. Kemudian untuk analisis getaran yang muncul akibat putaran gear pada masing-masing stage akan digunakan perangkat lunak ansys. Berdasarkan dari perancangan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil ratio yang diinginkan dan mampu menganalisis getaran yang tercipta dari sistem planetary gear single pinion 3 stage. Hasil simulasi getaran menggunakan 2 jenis material yaitu steel dan nylon, pada material nylon getaran paling besar pada stage ketiga senilai 5,66E-04 lebih kecil daripada material steel yaitu senilai 1.10E-04. Hal ini terbukti bahwa material steel lebih baik digunakan pada penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Planetary Gear, Getaran, Ratio, Gear
