Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between self efficacy and anxiety to accomplish final assignments of regular students 2 faculty of psychology batch 2016 Meruya Campus and Menteng Campus of Mercu Buana University Jakarta. The number of participants in this study were 93 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling (census). Self efficacy will be measured using the Self efficacy Scale (Bandura) and Anxiety will be measured using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The analysis technique in this study uses quantitative methods with Pearson correlation. The results of this study indicate that the value of r = - 0,587 and p = 0,000 which means that the correlation value of self efficacy and anxiety is negatively and significantly correlated, there is a correlation between self efficacy and anxiety. The conclusion of this study is that there is a correlation between self effcacy and anxiety which is negative and significant. Keywords: Self efficacy, anxiety, regular students 2 faculty of psychology batch 2016 Meruya Campus and Menteng Campus Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir pada mahasiswa reguler 2 fakultas psikologi angkatan 2016 Kampus Meruya dan Kampus Menteng Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 93 responden. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian menggunakan sampling jenuh (sensus). Self efficacy akan diukur menggunakan alat ukur Self Efficacy Scale (Bandura) dan Kecemasan akan diukur menggunakan alat ukur Beck Anxiety Inventory Scale (BAI). Teknik analisa penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai r = - 0,587 dan p = 0,000 yang artinya nilai korelasi self efficacy dan kecemasan berkorelasi negatif dan signifikan, terdapat hubungan antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan yang negatif dan signifikan.
