Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of financial literacy and demographic factors on investment decisions. Literacy aspects used in this research include aspects of basic personal finance knowledge, savings and deposits, insurance, and investment. The population in this research was 34 employees of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Mayestik Branch office. The sample used was 34 employees, in this research using a saturated sample. Data collection methods using survey methods, the research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses Partial Least Square. This study proves that financial literacy have a significant effect on investment decisions and demographic factors age and income does not have a significant effect on investment decisions. Keywords: Financial Literacy, Demographic factors, and Decisions Investment Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh literasi keuangan dan faktor demografi terhadap keputusan investasi. Aspek literasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi aspek pengetahuan dasar keuangan pribadi, tabungan dan simpanan, asuransi, dan investasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 34 karyawan PT Bank Central Asia Tbk kantor Cabang Mayestik. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 34 karyawan, pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi serta faktor demografi usia dan pendapatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi.
