Abstract

Electric motors are used constantly and continuously. so disturbance and demage isnt a new thing, such as damage of the shaft. Theres so many problems that occurs on the shaft of electric motors. like example, the topic of our research: oversize. if the shaft is oversized, it will affect the bearing electrical disturbance, vibration and other. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the cause of oversize damage to the shaft of electric motors 5ks44ss164, what is the oversized number obtained and know the effect of vibration of the shaft before and after recondition. With problems stated above, then the calculation analysis will be done manually with overhoul test and calculation formula/table by measuring the surface of the shaft. based on the calculation of the shaft experiencing oversize about 0.025mm - 0.035mm due to accumulation of rust, for the shaft test after reconditioning produced a balanced voltage and IEEE standard isolation that is 2, For testing the vibration test is done by measuring overall (DE vertical & axial point, DE horizontal point, vertical & horizontal point), with 2970 rpm The effect of vibrations before and after reconditioning have quite different numbers that the result before reconditioning it reach more than 3 mm/s. But after reconditioning it becomes below than 3mm/s. It proves that the shaft of electric motors has been reconditioned well so that the rotation doesn't cause a big vibratrion. Keywords: electric motor, electric motor shaft, oversize, vibration, damage and analysis calculations. Akibat dari motor listrik yang digunakan terus menerus motor listrik tidak lepas dari gangguan dan kerusakan. Banyak permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada poros motor listrik seperti pada penelitian kali ini yaitu oversize, apabila poros mengalami oversize maka akan berpengaruh pada bearing, ganguan elektrikal, getaran dan lain lain. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kerusakan oversize pada poros motor listrik 5KS44SS164, berapa angka oversize yang diperoleh dan menganalisis efek dari getaran poros sesudah dan sebelum dilakukan rekondisi. Dengan adanya permasalahan diatas maka akan dilakukan analisis perhitungan dengan mengunakan metode overhoul test dengan cara mengukur bagian dari permukaan poros tersebut, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan poros mengalami oversize sekitar 0.025mm – 0.035mm karena akumulasi karat, untuk test uji poros sesudah rekondisi dihasilkan tegangan yang seimbang dan isolasi yang standar IEEE yaitu 2, Untuk vibrasi test dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran overall (DE vertical & axial point , DE horizontal point, vertical & horizontal point), dengan 2970 rpm efek getaran sebelum dilakukan dan sesudah dilakukan rekondisi memiliki angka yang cukup berbeda sebelum dilakukan rekondisi angka mencapai lebih dari 3mm/s setelah dilakukan rekondisi menjadi dibawah 3mm/s itu membuktikan bahwa poros motor listrik telah direkondisi dengan baik sehingga putarannya seimbang tidak menimbulkan getaran yang besar. Kata kunci : motor listrik, poros motor listrik, oversize, getaran, kerusakan dan analisis perhitungan.
