Abstract
The high number of construction companies in Indonesia that have implemented safety, safety, health and sustainability (SSHS) standards and occupational safety and health management systems (OSHMS) have not been able to fully reduce the number of construction work accidents. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the integrated application of SSHS and OSHMS on the performance of road infrastructure projects, especially on indicators of environmental issues. Previous studies only measured the effect of OSHMS on one and or several projects, not the company as a whole, and never considered the impact of OSHMS integration with other OSH standards. Previous studies using performance indicators were limited to cost, quality and time alone. This research uses an explanatory quantitative approach, and the sample method used is the survey method to respondents through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The object of this research is the top management and the implementation team of 22 road infrastructure and transportation infrastructure projects from PT. X (Persero). Tabulate all indicator variables using the SPSS ver.22 program and analyze data using SEM Amos. ver. 22 with two methods, namely one stage approach or hybrid model and two stages approach. The results of the study have shown that there is a significant influence between the level of understanding of employees and workers towards SSHS and OSHMS, especially related to improving project performance on indicators of environmental issues.
