Abstract
This company is engaged in manufacturing electronic components. There are two types of products produced in this company, the types are switch products and relay products. Both of these products require carton box outer as a finished product packaging. There are various types of carton boxes used in this company because many types of carton boxes are used and their needs are adjusted to customer demand, it is very necessary for a warehousing management system. In this study using the EOQ method as a carton box inventory control by determining the number of orders, the estimated order and time between orders, the number of safety stock, and the ROP (reorder point) value. Furthermore, the ROP value is entered into the information system designed in the database inventory system so that the history of data entry from the carton box is stored properly and when the inventory is in the number of items up to or below the ROP the system indicates that the carton box must be ordered again. The results of this research show that with the implementation of this warehouse management system the total inventory has decreased by 16,725 pcs. Keywords: Warehouse Management System, EOQ, Safety Stock, ROP, Information System, and MySQL. Perusahaan ini bergerak dibidang manufaktur pembuatan komponen eletronika. Terdapat dua jenis produk yang di produksi pada Perusahaan ini yaitu jenis produk switch dan produk relay. Kedua produk tersebut membutuhkan outter carton box sebagai packaging produk yang sudah jadi. Terdapat berbagai jenis carton box yang digunakan di perusahaan ini karena banyaknya jenis carton box yang digunakan dan kebutuhannya disesuaikan dengan permintaan customer maka sangat diperlukan sistem manajemen pergudangan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode EOQ sebagai pengendalian persediaan carton box dengan menentukan jumlah pemesanan, perkiraan pemesanan dan waktu antar pemesanan, jumlah safety stock, dan nilai ROP (reorder point). Selanjutnya nilai ROP tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam sistem informasi yang dirancang yaitu sistem inventory database agar histori data keluar masuknya carton box tersimpan dengan baik dan ketika persediaan berada pada jumlah barang sampai atau dibawah ROP sistem tersebut memberikan tanda bahwa carton box harus dipesan kembali. Hasil yang ditunjukkan dari penilitian ini, bahwa dengan penerapan sistem manajemen gudang ini jumlah total persediaan mengalami penurunan sebanyak 16.725 pcs.
