Abstract
This study aims to determine the description of preschool children 4-6 years who are well-being according to the perspective of Mother. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were 59 people aged 23-46 years old who have children aged 4-6 years in Tangerang District area obtained through incidental sampling technique. The data were collected by using interview technique with open question. Based on the results of this study obtained a picture of preschool children aged 4-6 years well being according to the mother is a happy child, happy, confident, able to express themselves, easy to mingle and adapt to peers and others in the neighborhood, showing curiosity, willing to study and school without coercion, healthy physically and not easily sick, and actively moving. The description can be categorized into four domains: Psychological Well-Being, Social Well-Being, Cognitive / Educational Well-Being and Physical Well-Being. All domains are perceived equally by all mothers and are not influenced by demographic factors related to maternal age, education level, profession and position of the child. Keywords: Preschool 4-6 years old, Well-Being, Mother's Perspective Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran anak usia prasekolah 4-6 tahun yang well-being menurut perspektif Ibu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 59 orang Ibu berusia 23-46 tahun yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah 4-6 tahun di wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang yang diperoleh melalui teknik incidental sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teknik wawancara dengan pertanyaan terbuka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh gambaran anak usia prasekolah 4-6 tahun yang well being menurut ibu adalah anak yang ceria, bahagia, percaya diri, dapat mengekspresikan diri, mudah bergaul dan beradaptasi dengan sebaya serta orang lain di lingkungan sekitar, menunjukkan rasa ingin tahu, mau belajar dan sekolah tanpa paksaan, sehat secara fisik dan tidak mudah sakit, serta aktif bergerak. Gambaran tersebut dapat dikategorikan menjadi empat domain yaitu Psychological Well-Being, Social Well-Being, Cognitive/Educational Well-Being dan Physical Well-Being. Semua domain tersebut dipersepsikan sangat bervariasi oleh seluruh ibu dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografi terkait usia ibu, tingkat pendidikan, profesi dan posisi anak. Namun dari semua persepsi itu memang yang paling mendominasi ialah pada domain Psychological Well-Being Kata Kunci : Anak Usia Prasekolah 4-6 tahun, Well-Being, Perspektif Ibu
