Abstract
Distribution apparatus is a major component of the power distribution system, distributing electricity to the consumer. The design of the electrical installation system in the distribution substation shall refer to the applicable rules and regulations. Damage to the distribution substation causes continuity of service to the consumer will be disturbed, then the evaluation on the medium voltage distribution substation 20 kV is needed to obtain reliability substation distribution. In this study the authors conducted an evaluation of medium voltage distribution substation 20 kV at PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (SRI), which is evaluated is testing of grounding resistance, isolation resistance at distribution transformer, insulation resistance load breack cubicle and insulation resistance of underground medium voltage cable channel (SKTM). This test is conducted to know the equipment - equipment in distribution substations to function optimally and in accordance with the standard provisions applicable, namely General Electric Installation Regulations 2011 (PUIL 2011) and SPLN. The evaluation result of medium voltage distribution substation at PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (SRI) is that all the equipment in the substation is still safe to be tensioned, avoid the failure of isolation, and still in accordance with the rules and provisions applicable so declared operation worthy. Keywords : Medium Voltage Distribution Line 20 kV, Isolation Resistance, Distribution Transformer, Load Breack Cubicle, Cable Channel Underground Secondary Voltage (SKTM), PUIL 2011, SPLN Gardu distribusi merupakan komponen utama dari sistem distribusi tenaga listrik, berfungsi mendistribusikan tenaga listrik sampai ke konsumen. Perancangan sistem instalasi listrik pada gardu distribusi haruslah mengacu pada peraturan dan ketentuan yang berlaku. Kerusakan pada gardu distribusi menyebabkan kelangsungan pelayanan terhadap konsumen akan terganggu, maka evaluasi pada gardu distribusi tegangan menengah 20 kV sangat diperlukan untuk memperoleh kehandalan gardu distribusi. Pada penelitian ini penulis melakukan evaluasi terhadap gardu distribusi tegangan menengah 20 kV di PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (SRI), yang di evaluasi adalah pengujian terhadap tahanan pentanahan, tahanan isolasi pada transformator distribusi, tahanan isolasi load breack cubicle dan tahanan isolasi saluran kabel bawah tanah tegangan menengah (SKTM). Pengujian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui peralatan – peralatan pada gardu distribusi berfungsi secara optimal dan sesuai dengan standart ketentuan yang berlaku, yaitu Peraturan Umum Instalasi Listrik 2011 (PUIL 2011) dan SPLN. Hasil evaluasi gardu distribusi tegangan menengah di PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (SRI) adalah bahwa seluruh peralatan – peralatan pada gardu tersebut masih aman untuk diberi tegangan, terhindar dari kegagalan isolasi, serta masih sesuai dengan peraturan dan ketentuan – ketentuan yang berlaku sehingga dinyatakan laik operasi.
