Abstract

Bandara Soekarno-Hatta is one of the largest airport in Indonesia and historically a major airport in Indonesia. As a manager of air services both domestic and international flights Soekarno - Hatta Airport is always required to increase level of service for the passengers. One equipment to support service is Public Address System, an equipment used to provide departure, arrival, delay and general information for passenger. Public Address System (PAS) is electronic equipment consisting of microphone or music as input anda speaker as output. The voice entering through micropohone or music will be amplified by amplifier then heard on speaker. At Soekarno – Hatta Airport, public address system used as information facility that provide voice information. Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) used to adjust automatically the voice output from PAS. Output from censor will be processed by Arduino Nano then increased or decreased the volume by digital potentiometer. After the procces of experiment can be concluced that average of the increase of voice output is 2,38 dB. And more high the distance of PIR censor than ground level, then more far the distance of censor PIR response than object in form of a human movement. Key Words : Public Address System, Arduino, Nano, PIR, power amplifier, automatic, digital potentiometer Bandara Soekarno-Hatta merupakan salah satu Bandara terbesar di Indonesia dan menurut sejarahnya merupakan Bandara utama di Indonesia. Sebagai pengelola jasa pelayanan udara baik penerbangan domestik dan internasional Bandara soekarno-hatta selalu dituntut meningkatkan pelayanan kepada pengguna jasa bandar udara. Salah satu peralatan untuk menunjang pelayanan adalah public address system, yaitu sebuah peralatan yang digunakan untuk memberikan informasi keberangkatan, kedatangan, keterlambatan dan himbauan berupa suara kepada penumpang. Public Address System (PAS) merupakan peralatan elektronika yang terdiri dari mikropon atau musik sebagai masukan dan speaker sebagai keluaran. Suara yang masuk melalui mikropon atau musik akan diperkuat oleh power amplifier untuk kemudian dikeluarkan oleh speaker. Pada Bandara Soekarno – Hatta, public address system berfungsi sebagai fasilitas informasi yang memberikan informasi berupa suara. Penambahan sensor PIR berguna untuk mengatur keluaran suara dari PAS secara otomatis. Hasil sensor akan diolah oleh Arduino Nano yang kemudian ditambah atau dikurangi volume-nya oleh digital potensiometer. Setelah dilakukan proses pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kenaikan output suara adalah 2,38 dB. Dan semakin tinggi jarak sensor PIR terhadap permukaan tanah, maka semakin jauh jarak respon sensor PIR terhadap objek berupa gerakan manusia.
