Abstract
This research has been done due to knowing the relationship patriotism with prosocial behavior christian church volunteer community in East Jakarta. The research used quantitative with corelasion method. The sample used in this research are 200 the volunteer of church’s or N=200. Researcher used the instrument which adapted and modification from blind patriotism scale, constructive patriotism scale and prososial scale which taken form random sampling. The data processing method that used was corelasion pearson product moment. Based on analytical data, blind patriotism scale with prosocial behavior score as 0,744, so p = 0,744 > ∝=0,05. That means, there was not relation betwen blind patriotism scale with prosocial behavior, while constructive patriotism with prosocial behavior score as 0,000, so p = 0,000 < ∝=0,05. That means, there was relation betwen constructive patriotism with prosocial behavior. Which means, more higher the patriotism scale, and so the volunteer of church’s prosocial behavior. while more lower the patriotism scale, and so the volunteer of church’s prosocial behavior. Keywords: blind patriotism, constructive patriotism, and prososial behavior Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan patriotisme dengan perilaku prososial pada komunitas relawan Gereja Kristen di Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 200 relawan Gereja Kristen (SD) atau N=200. Peneliti menggunkan instrument yang di adaptasi dan dimodifikasi kembali dari skala patriotisme buta (blind patriotism scale), patriotisme konstruktif (constructive patriotism scale) dan skala perilaku prososial dengan pengambilan sampel random sampling. Uji hipotesa dalam penelitian ini menggunkan teknik korelasi pearson product moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh untuk variabel patriotisme buta dengan perilaku prososial memiliki 0,744 dengan nilai p. Sehingga nilai p = 0,744 > ∝=0,05 artinya tidak ada hubungan antara patriotisme buta dengan perilaku prososial. Sedangkan variabel patriotisme konstruktif dengan perilaku prososial memiliki 0,000 dengan nilai p. Sehingga p = 0,000 < ∝=0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan patriotisme konstruktif dengan perilaku prosoial. Jadi, semakin tinggi tingkat patriotisme maka semakin tinggi perilaku prososial sendangkan semakin rendah patriotisme maka semakin rendah perilaku prososial.
