Abstract

Water meter is very important for the Management and distribution of water Company to continuously monitor water usage so as to obtain an monthly accurate bill accounts, but until now the measurement of water meter conducted by PDAM is still very manual that is by approaching the customer to record the amount of water usage the recording of data performed by estimates has the potential to cause errors in data processing. For that we need a tool to facilitate the calculation of water usage on the customer side to get a very accurate bill accounts. For that we need a system that is able to monitor water. This system is built by installing components on a water meter (customer side) capable of transmitting calculation data to a central via a wireless zigbee, this zigbee as a communication protocol with low data processing on the network for control systems and sensors. Meanwhile there is a RTC (Real Time Clock) to record the time and a sd card as its data storage. RTC, SDcard and Water Flow sensors are controlled by an Arduino uno on each customer Keyword. Zigbee, Real time clock, SD card, Arduino uno, Water Flow sensor Meteran air sangat penting bagi Perusahan Pengelola dan pendistribusian air untuk memonitor secara terus menerus pemakain air pelanggan sehingga didapat rekening tagihan bulanan yang akurat, namun hingga saat ini pengukuran meteran air yang dilakukan PDAM masih sangatlah manual yaitu dengan cara mendatangi pelangan untuk melakukan pencatatan jumlah pemakaian air dengan cara seperti ini akan berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan dalam pengolahan data Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah alat agar memudahkan dalam perhitungan pemakaian air pada sisi pelanggan agar didapatkan rekening tagihan yang sangat akurat Sistem ini dibangun dengan memasang komponen pada meter air (sisi pelanggan) yang mampu mentransmisikan data perhitungan ke pusat melalui zigbee nirkabel, zigbee ini sebagai protokol komunikasi dengan pemrosesan data rendah pada jaringan untuk sistem kontrol dan sensor. Sementara itu ada RTC (Real Time Clock) untuk mencatat waktu dan sd card sebagai penyimpanan datanya. RTC, SDcard dan Water Flow Sensor dikontrol oleh Arduino uno pada setiap pelanggan.
