Abstract

This research focus on the differences of self-efficacy of teachers from a different schools, which areHigh School of BPK Penabur Harapan Indah and Darur Abror Islamic High School in Bekasi, with a total sample of 34 teachers, consisting of 19 High School of BPK Penabur Harapan Indah and 15 Darur Abror Islamic High School Bekasi. The technique used is total sampling. The research using the quantitative approach with comparative methods using questionnaire. Data collection using measuringinstrument of self-efficacy based on Tschannen-Moran dimensions, Woolfolk Hoy and Hoy’s. Analysis technique used is independent sample t-test. The results show that the t = 1,650 with p = 0.109. Which means there is no significant difference between the teacher's self-efficacy in the Natural Sciences Department of the High School of BPK Penabur Harapan Indah and Darur Abror Islamic High School in Bekasi. Keywords: self-efficacy, self-efficacy of teachers, high school teachers majoring in science Penelitian ini fokus pada perbedaan self-efficacy guru SMA jurusan IPA di dua sekolah yang berbeda yaitu SMAK BPK Penabur Harapan Indah dan SMA Islam Darur Abror Bekasi, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 guru.19 guru dari SMAK BPK Penabur Harapan Indah dan 15 Guru dari SMA Islam Darur Abror Bekasi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparasi menggunakan kuesioner.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan alat ukur selfefficacy berdasarkan dimensi Tschannen-Moran, Woolfolk Hoy dan Hoy’s.Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai t= 1.650 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar p = 0,109. Artinya tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy guru jurusan IPA SMAK BPK Penabur Harapan Indah dan SMA Islam Darur Abror Bekasi.
