Abstract
The development of digital media is very fast, but the security of copyright and intellectual property becomes a very important issue. This is because the rise of digital media piracy such as pirate software or source code. Applications can be easily obtained, modified (reverse engineering), duplicated or deployed without the author's permission. This problem encountered one of them on the PHP source code, thus requiring security on the source code so it can not be read directly. So in this research focus how to protect PHP source code. In this research will be done security of PHP source code with obfuscation code technique. The technique used by the writer is very simple that is by compressing the data (source code) with gzdeflate function then in revers and encode using Base64 (string encoding to radix-64). By applying this technique generated source code that is difficult to read Keywords : Encode, Base64, gzdeflate, obfuscation Perkembangan media digital sangat melaju dengan pesat, namun keamanan hak cipta dan kekayaan intelektualnya menjadi masalah yang sangat penting. Hal ini dikarenakan maraknya pembajakan media digital seperti pembajak software atau source code. Aplikasi dapat dengan mudah didapatkan, dimodifikasi (reverse engineering), diduplikasi atau disebarkan tanpa seizin pembuatnya. Masalah ini ditemui salah satunya pada source code PHP, sehingga memerlukan pengamanan pada source code agar tidak dapat dibaca secara langsung. Jadi dalam penelitian ini fokus bagaimana cara melindungi source code PHP. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengamanan source code PHP dengan teknik obfuscation code. Teknik yang digunakan penulis sangat sederhana yaitu dengan mengcompress data(source code) dengan fungsi gzdeflate lalu di revers dan di encode menggunakan Base64(string encoding to radix-64). Dengan menerapkan teknik ini dihasilkan source code yang sulit untuk dibaca. Kata Kunci: Encode, Base64, gzdeflate, obfuscation
