Abstract

This study aims to to examine and analyze the potential bankruptcy of sharia life insurance companies in Indonesia by using the method of Altman Z-Score, Springate and Zmijewski, knowing the difference and determine the accurate method. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. The population of research is 24 sharia life insurance industry and there are 19 that meet the criteria as sample, research period year 2013-2017. The method of analysis used Altman Z-Score, Springate and Zmijewski and comparison test. The results showed the Altman predicts 4% of sharia bank insurers go bankrupt, vulnerable category as much as 7% and 89% are in the healthy category. The Springate predicts a bankrupt of 9% and 91% of companies are in the healthy category. Zmijewski's predicts will go bankrupt 0%.. The comparison test results showed the Altman predicts 4% of sharia test results show that there is significant difference between Altman with Springate, there is significant difference of Altman with Zmijewski and there is significant difference of Springate with Zmijewski. The most accurate method for predicting sharia life insurance companies is the Springate with an accuracy of 9%. Keywords:bankrupt method, altman z-score, springate, zmijewski Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi kebangkrutan perusahaan asuransi jiwa syariah di Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Altman Z-Score, Springate dan Zmijewski, mengetahui perbedaan serta menentukan metode yang akurat. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 24 industri asuransi jiwa syariah dan terdapat 19 yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel, periode penelitian tahun 2013-2017. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kebangkrutan metode Altman Z-Score, Springate dan Zmijewski dan uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode Altman memprediksi sebesar 4% perusahaan asuransi jiwa syariah bangkrut, kategori rawan sebanyak 7% dan 89% berada dalam kategori sehat. Metode Springate memprediksi perusahaan bangkrut sebesar 9% dan 91% perusahaan berada dalam kategori sehat. Metode Zmijewski memprediksi perusahaan akan bangkrut 0% atau semua perusahaan masuk kategori sehat. Hasil uji beda menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan antara metode Altman dengan metode Springate, ada perbedaan signifikan Altman dengan Zmijewski dan ada perbedaan signifikan Springate dengan Zmijewski. Metode yang paling akurasi untuk memprediksi perusahaan asuransi jiwa syariah adalah metode Springate dengan akurasi sebesar 9%. Kata kunci: metode kebangkrutan, altman z-score, springate, zmijewski
