Abstract

In the era of globalisation, many people needs a convinient, cheap, and fast public transportations. The growth of humans’ mobility surely need a public transport which give an efficient, comfortness, and also safety transportation. Air transport as one of the fastest and efficient public transportation in sight of load capacity and time needed. Airport services expected to be one of the best way to help peoples’ mobility such as the ecomonician, folks, and also the tourist in order to fastly reach the place they want. Design of domestic airport in Alor Island aim to helps peoples’ mobility who go from and leave for Alor which known has some beautyful and architerctural themed places that have been choosen as refference of this domestic airport design therefore could have the similar with the local wisdom in Alor. Keywords: Transportation, airport, local wisdom, contextual architecture Pada era globalisasi seperti ini kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi yang nyaman, murah dan cepat sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap orang. Perkambangan dan kemajuan dalam mobilitas manusia, tidak lepas dari sarana transportasi yang membutuhkan urah efisiensi waktu, kenyamanan dan keselamatan. Trasportasi udara merupakan salah satu transportasi yang paling cepat dan efisien dilihat dari kapasitas angkut serta waktu tempuh. Kualitas pelayanan jasa angkut agar semakain mempermudah masyarakat dalam berpergian ke suatu tempat dengan tujuan luar kota maupun luar provinsi dan memberikan kemudahan mobilitas bagi para pelaku ekonimi, masyarakat dan wisatawan asing maupun local. Prancangan Bandar Udara domestic di pulau Alor ini bertujuan untuk menunjang mobilitas masyarakat maupun wisatawan yang akan dating atau pergi ke pulau alor, karena banyak sekali tempat wisata di pulau alor yang mempunyai keindahan, dan tema Arsitektur kontekstual sebagai tema yang dipilih sebagai pengarah dari perancangan Bandar udara ini sehingga dapat menghasilkan rancangan yang dapat menyatu dengan kearifan local pada daerah tersebut.
