Abstract

Rukun Tetangga (RT) is the smallest unit within the scope of government. As the smallest unit does not mean it does not have some problems with regulation or anything else. The problem is about the family data when the head of RT is in a position that requires him to search for data quickly, but in a conventional way that is by looking at each Family Register Card from the community who live in that RT. In addition to problems with data, within the scope of the RT also difficulties in delivering information effectively and efficiently. The smaRT application is one solution to solve the problem. This app also has many functions to enhance the RT performance. The other function is how to know about upcoming events and communicate with each other by mobile everytime and everywhere. An android application of RT information system developed using waterfall methodology with java mobile programming language, which can run in the android studio, and using firebase as an online database. The system to be built is that can provide information effectively, quickly and accurately. BlackBox testing method selected. Based on the testing result concluded that the test has shown the output and the process in accordance with the design of this program application.
