Abstract

Abstract – Queue is a service rule in the order. But not completely queue process is running well, there are still violations in the process of queuing for various reasons. This violation often prevents a queue. Especially in the Prepress Printing section that has often occurred a queue violation that does not match the first rule comes first served. Implementation of web-based queuing system can improve the queue process in the Prepress Printing section. The queuing system using the First Come First Serve (FCFC) method will become a rule that can not be broken without exception by anyone. FCFS method focus on the first job queue (FCFS) comes then this job is to be done first. This web-based queuing system also aims to improve the effectiveness of Prepress operators in working on design jobs, since the progress of design work can be monitored and progress reports can be viewed in percentage form. So that the effectiveness of operator capacities will be seen from how fast progress is observed in percentage form Keyword: Sistem Antrian, Prepress, First Come First Serve (FCFS), Progres Abstrak -- (Sistem antrian merupakan aturan pelayanan sesuai urutan. Namun tidak sepenuhnya proses antrian itu berjalan dengan baik, masih terdapat pelanggaran dalam proses mengantri dengan berbagai alasan yang ada. Khususnya di bagian Prepress Printing yang sudah sering terjadi pelanggaran antrian yang tidak sesuai aturan yang pertama datang yang pertama dilayani.Penerapan sistem antrian berbasis web ini dapat meningkatkan proses antrian di bagian Prepress Printing. Sistem antrian yang menggunakan metode First Come First Serve (FCFC) ini nantinya akan menjadi aturan yang tidak bisa dilanggar tanpa terkecuali oleh siapapun. Metode FCFS fokus terhadap antrian job pertama (FCFS) datang maka job ini lah yang harus dikerjakan terlebih dahulu. Sistem antrian berbasis web ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas operator Prepress dalam mengerjakan job desain, karena progress pengerjaan desain dapat dimonitor dan laporan progress dapat dilihat dalam bentuk prosentase. Sehingga kapaspitas efektifitas operator akan terlihat dari seberapa cepat progress yang terpantau dalam bentuk prosentase Kata Kunci: Queue System, Prepress, First Come First Serve (FCFS), Progress
