Abstract

Capital is the prominent aspect of company because capital is a determinants of the passage of short-term operational activities within the company. The operational activities affect the income obtained by the company. Companies which are able to produce value-added or sustainable profits is a company that is able to utilize its working capital effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital use on corporate profitability.This study aimed to determine the influences of capital turnover to company’s profitability. The study object is Pharmaceutical Companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique is purposive sampling, the researcher took 36 samples from the existing 40 populations. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis that is using multiple linear regression analysis and using tools of computer program Statisrical Product and Services Solution (SPSS) version 23. Data processing is done by using descriptive statistic test, classical assumption test and hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover Affects Profitability Companies, While Cash Turnover variables do not affect the Profitability of the Company. This is evidenced from the results of t test Keywords: cash turnover, receivable turnover, inventory turnover, profitability. Modal kerja merupakan aspek paling penting bagi tiap perusahaan karena modal kerja merupakan faktor penentu berjalannya kegiatan operasional jangka pendek dalam perusahaan. Kegiatan operasional tersebut berpengaruh pada pendapatan yang diperoleh perusahaan. Perusahaan yang mampu menghasilkan nilai tambah atau keuntungan yang sustainable (berkelanjutan) adalah perusahaan yang mampu memanfaatkan modal kerjanya secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Objek penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling sehingga dari 40 populasi yang ada di ambil 36 sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif yaitu menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda dan menggunakan alat bantu program computer Statisrical Product and Services Solution (SPSS) versi 23. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Perputaran Piutang dan Perputaran Persediaan Berpengaruh terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan, Sedangkan variabel Perputaran Kas tidak berpengaruh terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan.
