Abstract

Alor is an island located on the eastern tip of Nusa Tenggara. The island is bordered by Flores sea and Banda sea to the north. Strait of Waves in the south that separates with Timor Island and the Pantar Strait on the ground that separates with Padar Island. Enchantment of nature tourism Alor presenting the beauty that makes this area never tired to visit, where the beautiful nature with the hospitality of the local community. With the development of Mali Airport, Alor became the government's attention as an effort to increase tourism potential in the form of nature tourism and diving at Mali Beach and Pantar Marine Park, as well as local traditional cultural tourism in Kampung Takpala. With a well designed airport as the gate as well as the Alor symbol with the priority of energy saving, it is expected to increase both local and international tourists who visit the island of Alor. Keywords: Alor Airport, Energy Saving Building Alor merupakan sebuah pulau yang terletak di ujung timur Nusa Tenggara. Pulau yang dibatasi dengan laut Floresdan laut Banda di sebelah utara. Selat Ombak di selatan yang memisahkan dengan Pulau Timor serta Selat Pantar dibarat yang memisahkan dengan Pulau Padar. Pesona wisata alam Alor menyuguhkan keindahan yang menjadikan daerah ini tidak pernah bosan untuk dikunjungi, dimana alamnya yang indah dengan keramah – tamahan masyarakat lokalnya. Dengan Pengembangan Bandar Udara Mali, Alor menjadi perhatian pemerintah sebagai usaha meningkatkan potensi pariwisata berupa wisata alam dan diving di Pantai Mali dan Taman Laut Pantar,serta wisata kebudayaan tradisional lokal di Kampung Takpala. Dengan bandar udara yang didesain dengan baik sebagai pintu gerbang sekaligus simbol Alor dengan mengutamakan hemat energi, diharapkan terjadi peningkatan wisatawan baik local maupun internasional yang berkunjung ke Pulau Alor.
