Abstract
ABSTRACT Changes that occur in the function room residential units carried out by residents of post-habitation because various factors, factors that mndasari changes in the function room residential units in housing, among others, environmental factors, lifestyle factors and factors of the number of occupants penghuni.perumahan Buana Gardenia is located in the district of Tangerang city Pinang. The changes will mean a process that resulted in the present situation is different from the previous state and the change itself can be a setback and could be progress, Housing is interesting to study because it has built more than 5 years and if seen from its physical form has clearly been progress at his home units. This research aims toknow the changes that occur in residential housing units at Gardenia Buana Pinang Tangerang.dan To find the root causes of those changes. This study is a qualitative descriptive study WITH data collecting interviews and observation. The results of the research will be described through the variables in this study, namely the environment, lifestyle, number of occupants. Keywords: Change, Function, Space, Residential, Housing ABSTRAK Perubahan fungsi ruang yang terjadi pada unit rumah tinggal banyak dilakukan oleh penghuni rumah paska huni karena memang berbagai macam faktor, faktor yang mndasari perubahan pada fungsi ruang unit rumah tinggal pada perumahan antara lain faktor lingkungan, faktor gaya hidup penghuni dan faktor jumlah penghuni.perumahan Buana Gardenia terletak di kecamatan Pinang kota Tangerang. Perubahan berarti suatu proses yang mengakibatkan keadaan sekarang berbeda dengan keadaan sebelumnya dan perubahan itu sendiri bisa berupa kemunduran dan bisa berupa kemajuan. Perumahan ini menarik untuk diteliti karena telah dibangun lebih dari 5 tahun dan jika dilihat dari bentuk fisiknya jelas telah mengalami perubahana pada unit-unit rumahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan yang terjadi di unit rumah pada perumahan Buana Gardenia Pinang Tangerang.dan Untuk mencari faktor penyebab terjadinya perubahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif denganmetode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara langsung dan observasi. Hasil penelitian akan diuraikan melalui variabel pada penelitian ini yaitu lingkungan, gaya hidup, jumlah penghuni. Kata Kunci : Perubahan, Fungsi, Ruang, Rumah Tinggal, Perumahan
