Abstract

Identification technology has advanced grow even more, one of which is the technology of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is a new small-sized identification has enormous benefits. This technology is now beginning to be applied by a few people, institutions or organizations around the world on a variety of community activities, such as medical, automotive, fast food, travel, education and so on. With the rapid development of digitization era the current library also has many use RFID technology. RFID Information technology has brought changes in many sectors, including the library itself. Important and fundamental changes to the management of the library, both in providing services and in relationships between agencies, units or institutions. This is what underlies the transformation uses a Radio Frequency Barcode Identification (RFID) is more effective and efficient in the library. This study aimed to design a business planning system Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in libraries Bina Sarana Information Technology (BSI) in Jakarta. Bina Sarana Foundation Investment Plan Information for RFID-based library planning with total 297,390,800 financing from its own capital with the discount factor or interest rate of 10%. Investment appraisal to the investment plan Bina Sarana Informatika Library is using capital budgeting techniques, an acceptable use to determine whether a proposed investment, the analysis tool Paybeck Period, Net Present Value, Profitability Index and Internal Rate of Return. Four methods of analysis tools are used with consideration of only four methods that bases itself on cash, because cash is very important for the company to an investment decision. From the analysis using capital budgeting techniques. Retrieved Payback Period for 6 years and 11 months, the Net Present Value of Rp. 3821051, Internal Rate of Return of 17.51% and Profitability Index 1.013 times. This shows that the financial investment plan projects the use of RFID in Libraries Bina Sarana Informatika feasible.
