Abstract

In general, meeting the needs of consumers in time (on time) is the goal or desire of many companies. But this is not easy to do. Several factors can hamper these objectives, such as sudden machine and tool damage at the time of the production process can delay delivery of orders to consumers. PT. Roda Prima Lancar (RPL) is one of the companies engaged in the manufacture of two-wheeled or more automotive in Indonesia. Products produced at PT. RPL is a variety of spare parts used motorcycles by some well-known motorcycle companies such as sprocket, frame body, swing arm. Die Casting is a process in the machine-making industry where liquid steel is molded / casted using high-level pressure into the mold / dies (a kind of cavity for mold). Dies maintenance process varies depending on the damage found. To facilitate the process there must be work steps or Standard Operating work. Here are the steps - maintenance process dies type fine blank: SPPM (Machine Repair Request Letter), Problem Identification, Problem Formulation, Data Collection, Repair Process, Machining Process, Trial Process. Keywords: Casting, Process Maintenance Dies Type Fine Blank Pada umumnya memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen pada waktunya ( tepat waktu) merupakan tujuan atau keinginan banyak perusahaan. Akan tetapi hal ini tidaklah mudah untuk dilakukan. Beberapa faktor dapat menghambat tujuan tersebut diantaranya kerusakan pada mesin dan tools secara mendadak pada saat proses produksi dapat menunda waktu pengiriman pesanan ke tangan konsumen . PT. Roda Prima Lancar (RPL) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufacture otomotif roda dua atau lebih di Indonesia. Produk-produk yang dihasilkan di PT. RPL ini adalah berbagai suku cadang sparepart motor yang digunakan oleh beberapa perusahaan bermerk motor terkenal seperti sprocket, frame body, swing arm. Die Casting adalah sebuah proses pada industri pembuatan mesin di mana baja cair dicetak/dicor menggunakan tekanan tingkat tinggi ke dalam mold/dies (semacam rongga untuk cetakan). Proses maintenance dies sangat beragam tergantung dari kerusakan yang ditemukan. Untuk mempermudah dalam proses harus ada langkah-langkah kerja atau Standar Operasi kerja. Berikut ini langkah – langkah proses maintenance dies type fine blank : SPPM (Surat Permohonan Perbaikan Mesin), Identifikasi Masalah, Perumusan Masalah, Pengumpulan Data, Proses Repair, Proses Machining, Proses Trial.
