Abstract

ABSTRACT This research contains the evaluation of accounting information systems for ticket sales at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero). The purpose of this research was to determine whether the accounting information system for ticket sales at PT Garuda Indonesia (persero) has been running well appropriate with the general theory. Research methods used is a descriptive. This research conducted through a qualitative approach by analyzing the accounting information system for ticket sales and cash receipts using a flowcharts. The results of this research showed that the accounting information system for ticket sales at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) is good. This is due to the real time systems used by PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) provides many benefits such as presenting information about the availability of seats with accurate and quickly, 24-hour online system that allows customers to obtain services at any time.
